If someone finds ridiculously out of character, ah well. Consider it AU if ya want or something, but I haven't drawn anything in ages, so since I actually had some drive to draw I had to do it. I'm already so rusty!

Inspired slightly by Gakuen Alice when Natsume sees Mikan after a mission. In this case, after a couple years Ciel and Lizzy have a kind of more open relationship, and before Ciel goes on a particularly dangerous assignment, she makes him promise that if she can't go, he absolutely must see her as soon as he gets back.

So he does, and he's hurt. And Lizzy feels like crap about it. Ciel feels guilty and tries to soothe HER guilt by telling her as gently as he can manage to that it's okay and to not cry. He's fine. The end. (Then outside the scope of this pic he whips out a hankie like in chapter 2 and once Lizzy stops crying goes into 'DFGDG embarrassed hormonal teenager' overload)
