Rachel just wanted a fun winter activity, something to do when it was too cold for cycling. It was supposed to be fun, that’s all... and wasn’t snow soft? She really expected the snow to be soft when she fell, but it wasn’t...She was going too fast and lost control. She barely realized what was happening as she crashed on the slope, her back breaking as the twisted and fell.
Being in a wheelchair was hard, especially in the snow, but Rachel kept working at it. Her limp useless legs didn’t really give her a choice.
