I can understand your meaning of the far left hijacking terminology.   I would consider myself center, slightly right.   The concept of individual freedom is (in recent years) only being proclaimed by the those leaning (or bent far to...) the right.   And frankly, mostly the religious right.   

Personal freedom is gradually being eroded by the intentional efforts of the far left in the United States.   It seems like every day they want to take yet another right away from citizens and enslave them as indentured servants of the state.   I can't even flush my *#%! toilet without being reminded that they forced a limitation on how much water a toilet can use!   I'm in a part of the world that is constantly dealign with flooding and too much water... but I have to use a limited amount to flush the #$&!@ toilet because some liberal, green weenie, know it all from California says I can't use more.

The only thing evil requires to triumph is for good people to do nothing. This is how the world has become what it has become.

Criminals run the world on every level. Not because of some all powerful cult twirling their mustaches and smoking cigars, but because most people have decided that the idea that criminals can do anything beyond robbing a liquor store is merely "conspiracy theory". Both the left and the right are guilty of this logical fallacy. Both the left and the right have failed to learn the lessons of history.

The next problem is that most people now think that every solution must be a political solution. All politicians are criminals, period. The entire system is the swamp.

RIP USA 1776 - 1913

What the USA has slowly devolved into beyond 1913 looks NOTHING like the vision of the founding fathers. While we all virtue signal about freedom. Yes it is true that we are the most free country relative to all of the others, but these days thats like saying we are the rat infested shithole with the fewest rats and the least amount of shit. That is different than NOT being a rat infested shithole.

Ask not what your country can do for you, ask instead what you can do for your country. JFK, one of the last real Liberals in living memory, said those words but few people know what they mean anymore. They mean, don't be tricked into learned helplessness. Don't create your identity around victimhood. Don't fall for identity politics. Do not beg elected babysitters to do everything for you. KNOW YOUR POWER.

Tim Pool, one of the last true Liberals, refers to Centrist as "politically homeless". Funny how people assume he is far right. Hell, these days anything right of Stalin is considered to be far right.

A house divided can not stand. United we stand, divided we fall.

Yet the mental illness that plagues humanity has convoluted notions about this. On one hand, people virtue signal about unity and equality and all of that and act like it is a good thing. But when asked to practice what they preach, suddenly the reaction is "thats a utopian delusion" or "thats communism" or "thats fascism" or "thats new world order global government" or whatever.

The truth is, people have become rage addicts. Addicted to the dopamine hit from social media. They'll bitch all day and bitch all night but when it comes to any actual plans of action that don't involve demanding an elected babysitter do everything for us -- people immediately drop their virtue signaled self righteous indignation and devolve straight into cowards.

The other sad thing is people have such low self esteem and are so oblivious to their own power, that they think the only option other than a political solution, is violent revolution. People have zero concept of civil non-compliance. The idea that a simple thing done en mass can devastate the powers who assume they be. That with simple actions done all at once, we could completely crash their systems of enslavement and create a better world within a year.

But no one wants to take personal fucking response ability and own their part in all of this shit. They want to play the blame game and act as if the criminals who run everything are infallible demon-gods who can not be defeated by us mere mortals. This lie people tell themselves allows them to avoid facing the shame and guilt that they would feel upon realizing that the only reason that these criminals are able to run everything, is because we have chosen to surrender our power to them. But that the power is ours, not theirs. They are too ashamed and too much in a state of collective stockholm syndrome to want to take their power back, or even to acknowledge that they have any.

The blessing in all of this mess, is that for me at least, it takes all of my past stress and makes it vanish. Because the only thing that really used to stress me out, is the pointless guaranteed failure that trying to play the appeasement game actually is. Now that I understand that no matter who you are, what you say or how you say it most people will still hate you: it is FUCKING LIBERATING. I now have zero excuses to not be myself, and I am able to own the fact that I alone bare personal response ability for choosing to stress myself out and fall for the bullshit. In this way, I am more free than I've ever been in my life.

that's well stated ... I'd certainly agree with you that JFK was the last true liberal.   By today's standards he would be considered right of Trump.  (lower taxes, more personal responsibility, less identity politics, less racist)     

On our worksite, the upcoming generation seems to avoid any personal responsibility at all.  They sit around asking for everything to be handed to them and when they don't like real work, they quit.   Everything is everyone else's fault and they always play the poor little victim.   

I especially appreciate the closing of your argument... liberation by not giving a shit what others think since they're all going to hate you anyway.

Trump is just another corporate shill and politics is nothing more than a distraction and a shit show, and a deception that works VERY EFFECTIVELY.

The main thing I actually like about Trump, is that he admits plenty of things about himself and the system that no other conservative politician has ever dared to admit, save of course for maybe Ronald Reagan when he said that the most dangerous words in the English language are "I am from the government and I am here to help".

I've seen plenty of videos where Trump openly admits to his constituents that he is just as corrupt and just as much of a liar as any other politician on any side, and that he just knows how to play the game better than all the rest of them. I applaud him for admitting this. I can respect an honest tyrant way more than I can respect someone who pretends to be moral and virtuous. Of course most conservatives ignore all of the videos where Trump admits this stuff, straight out of existence. Too much cognitive dissonance.

A generation of entitled brats is the inevitable end result of a boomer generation of communists / socialists / fascists / utilitarians (both left and right, neither side is innocent).

Plus, people no longer know the difference between work and toil, or the difference between employment and slavery. I surely do NOT want to "work" in a system that expects you to be a robot and literally works you to death. Burn out has become an epidemic in every single industry.,

I'll give the leftists some credit though: at least they are honest about how communist and socialist they truly are. They are honest about how much they hate freedom and hate America. Where as Conservatives also support communist / socialist / fascist ideologies but they wrap it in red, white and blue dressing and call anyone who disagrees anti-American.

Centrists tend to view things holistically and look to identify patterns, the components of the patterns and how those components interact. The Scientific Method as it is supposed to be, and not all of the emotionally charged "team player" mentality. By "team player mentality" I simply mean blind loyalty, even if the team is wrong.

As a Centrist myself, I'd say it depends on the conviction or belief being held. If one believes that a compassionate attitude combined with confidence and critical thinking allows for a better balance of harmony between the subjective and objective -- I feel this is such a belief / conviction that inspires action which leads to genuine productivity.

We should love people and use things, but instead we love things and use people.

This is the problem and it is how normie society has been constructed.
