To be bigoted against the wilfully ignorant, one can then not avoid being simultaneously bigoted against ones self as well. Anything which provides any limitation upon the flow of objective information, and any such provision which is adopted wilfully and of ones freedom to choose, by default is a wilfully established ignorance.
This being said, we are all wilfully ignorant sometimes, by default of being humans born into a system of corporate population control via indoctrination. We become addicted to our "fight or flight" hormones and the power elites use this addiction for control. Divide and conquer is by far the most efficient strategy through which to destroy your enemy. Prejudice being the largest generator of fear, ignorance and division -- it is the most powerful weapon to be used on an enemy.
The masses are the enemies of the ruling class. Government. Monarchy. Nobility. The State. The Top 1%. Or, whatever you want to refer to them as. Shadow Government. Illumi-naughty. Corporate Whores. Satan. Really rich assholes who just don't give a fuck. So many labels, it doesn't really matter which is used. Its all the same.
Humans are naturally good-natured, contrary to the lies we're handed about humans being born naturally aggressive and whatever other stupidity. That is the sort of thinking which ruled the Nazi Superman Experiments. Eugenics, and such.
Think of a ping pong ball floating in a tank of water. Imagine it floating at the top easily and effortlessly. To bring it to the bottom, you would need to push it to the bottom. If you let go, it will automatically come back to the top. So you would need a constant push force to keep it at the bottom.
Humans are naturally community-driven and cooperative. Humans naturally have empathy for each other. At the very least, its a survival mechanism. Sort of like how lions form cooperative communities. Packs of lions don't come together to form NATO and then wage war against all the other lions. To accomplish such a thing, the lions would not only need to be tricked, but constant effort and energy would need to be endlessly put into making sure they remain ignorant and divided.
This is why Governments, Educational Systems, Main Stream Media, Religions, etc are all systems of control. This is why so much money is put into WAR and CONTROL. War keeps us distracted and divided so the control mechanisms are easier to fuck us with.
So we are the ping pong ball that needs lots of energy to remain held to the bottom of the tank. If the powers that be lost their ability to add all of that pressure, we would float back up to our natural state and this is what we see happening.
For me to say such a thing, would not have been possible 20 years ago or more. The global awareness wasn't there. The Internet wasn't there. The idea of there being a need to even say such a thing would rank right in there with an Orewllian Scifi Movie or Book. But now these are real awarenesses and real observations and real conversations about real things.
Truth can be stranger than fiction.

Indeed. But the harsh reality is that stupidity is too often highly rewarded. Just look at Jersey Shore or Honey Boo Boo. Not to mention how people who make stupid mistakes are often pandered to while people who enrich themselves from their smart and wise choices are often belittled. It truly is maddening.

Not really. People are more like computers and they are indoctrinated / programmed by their environment. So sure, if people are indoctrinated to presume that a herd mentality is required and with all the "be in with the in crowd, otherwise you're stupid" sort of crap that has been in society for ages then sure, people do default to their PROGRAMMING. But programs can be inserted and undone just like a computer.
Thats why the euphemism of "stop acting like a toddler!" always makes me laugh. Toddlers are mirror reflections of the people they are subjected to the most.
When we are born, our soul gives us "self awareness" but beyond that -- we're born with a "blank hard drive". You have to be quiet around babies because they hear all noise at equal volume. Being able to raise and lower volumes with your mind and to separate someone speaking from all other noise, is something learned through practice. This has also been proven when people who have been deaf all of their lives can suddenly hear because of technology. Some new implant from some revolutionary new type of surgery.
A baby can't tell you what its like to be "new to hearing" but an adult is quite capable of it.
Depth perception is also learned through hand-eye coordination. This is why babies will grab for things that are 8 feet away from them. They don't yet understand that those things aren't right up close to them. They have no clue of distance or height.
Being amphibious, turtles and frogs have no such perceptions either. They'll walk / jump straight off a cliff.
The point is: all human behaviour is LEARNED from the environment and NOTHING is "inherent". The only things inherent are as such that you need food, water and oxygen. Your heart will beat. Your lugs will breathe. All involuntary processes will occur automatically without needing to learn anything.
People assume birds automatically are born knowing how to fly. This is wrong. They learn by watching other birds. It has been proven that if you take a baby bird and raise it from tiny to adult and do not let it ever come into contact (visual or otherwise) with any other birds -- it will never learn to fly.
Birds learn to make nests by watching other birds. Robins pick worms out of the ground because they watch other robins do it and they notice that the "funny sounds they've been hearing" ARE the worms and they watch the other robins pull worms out of the ground to know how its done.
Behaviour in animals and people is LEARNED. The 20th Century assumed it was inherent. The 21st Century has proven otherwise.
But if you disagree, then lets agree to disagree. As I do not really have the desire not do I feel obligated to engage in a debate

The human cattle are born with a herd instinct. How do I know? I was subjected to it at the age of 3 in kindergarten. The public have been inrrational violent barbarians long before the invention of the mass media. Events in ancient history will show you this.
Most sheeple do not age mentally beyond the age of 12, because they are willfully ignorant of intellectually stimulating material and never think or use their minds once in their entire lifetime.
I can tell you as a neuroscientist that there is something seriously wrong in their brains. Something in broken in their cortex that makes them entirely incapable of processing information logically, and they have absolutely no critical thinking skillsd whatsoever.

Your data is scattered nonsense and even though there is this odd sense of you being "well intended and wanting to spread the good word of what the fuck ever to wake people up" and such -- you come off as more arrogant, closed minded and judging than anything. I mean no offence as I am sure you are genuinely well intended, but the road to hell is paved with lots of those sorts of intentions.
A neuroscientist would not be so anonymous, ~Anon371 . So I've got trouble believing you are one. There is also no way in hades that you nor anyone else could have been 3 years old in kindergarten. Thats only slightly more believable than if you claimed you worked for NASA at the age of 4 and retired a millionaire at the age of 10
