this can't be any more true. I was a christian for a short time, until I left it behind to find the truth about God through Spirituality. (I still believe in Jesus even though I'm an Ex Christian)
I don't care what anybody says, I am NEVER going back to the religion that caused so much suffering. If someone wants to stay there, I will respect his/her choice.
but not me, I am done with christianity forever. I will never again serve under any religion, especially the one that took christ's name. My Heart, Soul and Spirit belong to God, and God alone.

What some people are doing, such as one of my best female friends is doing, is refashioning Christianity to be spiritual instead of dogmatic. To be true to the original teachings and not the virtue signaling fake pharisee hijackers who use esoteric teachings in twisted contexts to obtain control through fear. She takes shit from both Christians and New Agers because NewAgeIsm is also a religion. As also is Atheism. Modern Atheism is the epitome of what Einstein said when he warned about the dangers of science becoming a religion. This has absolutely happened as the academics and professionals have become the new scribes and priests.
NewAgeIsm is no different than main stream Christianity.
Main Stream Christianity: be fearful and hateful and condemning while claiming this is allegedly the unconditional love of Christ, who is the light of the world. Surrender your personal power and personal response ability using God as an excuse.
NewAgeIsm: lower your vibration by becoming terrified of lowering it, use the false idea of shunning the dark as a denial mechanism for what you're actually doing, become the embodiment of sociopathic apathetic narcissism and then label it as love and light and high vibration. Surrender your personal power and personal response ability using the law of attraction as an excuse.
I'm just at this place right now where I see basically everything as group think, in a world stripped of critical thinking where no one wants to view data as data. That everyone just wants to be smug assholes and project on each other and jam each others insecurities down each others throats. Whether its politics or religion or whatever the topic, this is all I see. So though I'm embracing the data from all groups, all movements, all spiritual paths, all ideologies, etc -- I am using critical thinking to decide for myself what I think that data is all about. And all groups and movements and ideologies give me shit for it. I just don't give a flying fuck anymore. Besides, thats just their right to their opinion of me, anyways. Who am I to claim anyone isn't allowed a negative opinion of me? Of course they are.

For some yes Religion is, but from my personal experience religion is it as mostly defined an organized group of believers who follow a belief or statute. For me I am a christian, I am not afraid of the devil or hell, if you are a christian for that reason of fear your heart and spirit are in the wrong place. Spirituality to me is being alive, living life as though it were the best day you had ever had regardless of circumstance. But being in a hellish situation can sober the soul for sure just ask any veteran who lived through combat.

Well, I believe that every religion has hijacked spiritual teachings. Christianity being a prime example and best of all, Jesus did predict that it would happen. He showed us what the Pharisees are and how they act. He showed us the trap of religion and how it seeks to get us away from God. He warned about how his teachings would surely be hijacked by the Pharisees and turned into an organized religion. So for me, its all pretty clear. I see that exactly what he said would happen, did happen. This is why my heart and soul belong to God, not the church of anything.
Churches have us worship false idols. They adorn their buildings with pagan and in same cases even masonic or even satanic symbology and without even realizing they are doing so. Churches have us worship authority, the state and narrow minded doctrine which seeks to crush individuality towards total control through propagation of fear.
I believe that there is a huge difference between religion and spiritual teaching. Spirituality or spirit or ether or energy, is that which expands. Religion literally means to bind or narrow or lock down. The reason a spiritual awakening tends to result in a walk through hell, is because when you shine a light in a dark place, now you can see what before was unseen. And if a mess is in front of you, then its yours, and your job to clean it up. So we shine the light in dark places and the mess unfolds around us. The shadows. The hell. The contrast.
As we clean it up, we learn. The learning is valuable. The learning is beneficial. Jesus did this. As did all other spiritual teachers. They walked through darkness to emerge on the other side with a more broad perspective of life. Jesus said all that he has done, also shall we do.
I don't think he was strictly referring to walking on water. I think he was referring to spiritual understandings that religion claims is either impossible to know, or that only the devil can grant you a knowing of it. Religion sucks and is hypocritical.
Jesus hated religion. That should tell Christians something.

Religion is also sexual worship of idols, authority, state and the narrow-minded. I think I can just call those religious people “godsexuals”.

Absolutely. I just call it The Cult of the Worship of Perceived Human Authority. Anything else they claim (science, god, allah, whatever) is merely virtue signaling so they can hide the truth from themselves.

I think what you are referring to is legalistic religion, did you develop your opinion through Jeff Bethke's YouTube video ? Please read the article and do some research. I respect your opinion but I think you need to do some historical research and biblical research. Please provide evidence to your findings not a long opinionated statement. Most things you talk about are true, on this I am going to have to put my foot down and politely ask you to do research. Jesus said to follow his ways to teach and spread his word as well as the word of God. Jesus came to fulfill the prophecy of the first coming. He was a messenger of God, the Jewish priests saw him as a threat because he claimed to be the son of God. His mission was to start the new covenant and end the old one or in other words separating the veil between man and God. Now have some Religious institutions violated what Jesus wished, yes hell yes. That is nothing new under the sun. That was going on before Jesus'es time, mans sins are the same old sad story. I live my life according to what God says not what some priest tells me. There is a HUGE difference there. Anyway before you reply seriously research into all aspects of this.

By the way, I'm done reading your link. All I see are two people with two equally valid perspectives and interpretations of things, but no "evidence" as it were. As there can be no "evidence". Things of this nature are pure, 100% perspective. Thats why there are tens of thousands of denominations of Christianity alone. And none of them agree on too much of anything. And they have even fought each other in bloody wars before. Why? Because sin is a lack of respect for ones right to be who they are. To say to someone "my perspective is the only truth, now conform or die". Though most of us don't go around killing each other, the attitude is the same.
So can I prove exactly how and why I see this blog post differently than you, the author or anyone else might? Nope. Because none of you are me and none of you ever will be. Therefore, its not possible. But I don't believe thats a bad thing. Or a wrong thing. I wish people would respect individuality and see individuated perspectives as the gift from God that it is, instead of condemning it and calling things disinfo and misinfo. Disinfo according to who? Misinfo according to what?
If my right to see the world as I do and to think, feel and EXPRESS it as I do is "misinfo" and "disinfo" then so be it. But I'll stick up for my right to do so and I'll stick up for yours to do the same.
End of story.

Your giving the same answer here and going off topic into the same realm, my friend all I am saying is when stating something historical scientific back it up. It is equally up to each of us to do our homework. You made the statement Jesus hates religion. I am asking for you to simply back up why you see and or think that with evidence nothing more. You are correct information is taken differently by every human being. Just respond to me on the topic we started into, I am not here to argue reality and the state of the human mind. I am here to have a logical discussion about Jesus not liking religion. If you can show evidence as to why you feel that way we can both move on. You know my perspective as stated earlier now I want to know yours on this subject that we both started lol.

Let me rephrase then: from my perspective as per my own interpretations of what Jesus said in the Bible, other third party sources on Jesus, my own personal experiences within the church, my own intuitive guidance as well as other variables, some of which are "evidential" and most of which are not: it is my choice to view these thing as Jesus having a perspective of being against religion.
I'm not really in the mood for the topic at this particular time. Which is my full right to not be. It doesn't mean I won't be in the mood at some other point. But I do reserve the right to not want to discuss at at the moment, based purely only on my mood as per me living my life and everyones human right to sometimes be in the mood for things, and not be in the mood for other things.
I will always however stand to the fact that theres really no such thing as evidence for anything or of anything. There is only subjective interpretation of observed realities. This is true with everything. Even gravity. Even the atom.
My only intention in this thread was to make known what I believed. I'm not in the mood for a huge discussion on this right now. Perhaps another time. And indeed most likely another time. But right now I've been diving into many other things and theres only so much my mental hard drive can handle at once. And you know me when I dive into things -- I really dive! Hahaha.

I have done my research and have never heard of Jeff Bethke. With all due respect, I am going to have to say as per my usual: truth is coloured by perspective. I will also state that if someone feels that my perspective is invalid, it is up to them to prove it. Not up to me to prove it. We all have the right to believe as we do and to express those beliefs. I have stated many times that I am a person with a perspective, and I deem myself and my perspectives equal in validity to anyone else and their perspectives. So even with evidences, everything on God's green Earth can be taken to any and all perspectives, because we see the world not as it is, but as we are.
I have had my own personal experiences with the church which also factor into my views. Can't be helped, we're all human.
So my perspective on this topic is based on what I have researched in conjunction to my own experiences and INTUITION. Now let face it, intuitions can not be proven. They are purely od an etheric, fringe sort of nature and we have no scientific basis what so ever to absolutely prove that sort of thing as absolutely true nor absolutely false. I could tell you stories of things I've experienced with no evidence what so ever to back myself with. Because personal experience has no evidence. If you claim you love someone, theres no way to prove that you truly feel as you feel to the extent that you feel it and in the way that you claim to. Its purely subjective experiential reality and people can either believe you, or not.
So I have many different ingredients that factor into this cake of my perspective. On the research side of it, as I've said many times -- its not my job to do everyone else's homework for them. Seeing as I am admittedly here just sharing perspectives with respect to everyone else's right to do the same, I'm not obligated to meet any demands for showing evidence of anything. What a person does for themselves in their own life, is done for themselves in their own life. Only you live your life, no one else does. So what you do and who you are, will impact you first and foremost before impacting anyone else. Because we can not escape ourselves anymore than we can run from our own shadows.
So if you wish to attempt to present evidence to prove me wrong in some way, then thats your task if you choose for it to be, it is not my obligation to meet a demand, be it politely stated or not. It is one thing to have a perspective in opposition to another persons. Its a whole other to make a demand of evidence as if such a thing is actually owed you. Its not.
I've done my research. Nope, I don't feel obligated to prove it simply because you politely demanded it. Part of my perspective is based on personal experience, which would be difficult if not impossible to prove. The next part is based purely on my own intuitive connection to the creator, source, God or whatever anyone wants to call he / it. And that is absolutely impossible to prove within the realms of any sort of field of research.
Everyone has such a connection and they can accept or reject any aspect of it that they wish to. Everyone also has the right to view any evidence or 5 sense data presented to them in any which way they so choose to, and this is all the human mind can do. There is no uniform measuring stick. Humans only like to trick ourselves into thinking that such a fiction exists.
Even what we call "science" is merely "a perspective" of "an experience" which is observed through the emotional and psychological filters of the human or humans who are participating in the experience. Everything is perspective. Now when we can finally get it through our thick arrogant human heads that theres nothing wrong with this, then we'll really be getting somewhere.
We are moving into a world where individuality and diversity are respected as equal and valid, a world in which how we treat each other is the highest value of the land. However, we are not quite there yet. On our way, yes. There yet? Hell no.
Sticking up for ones right to be an individual will always offend egos. First and foremost the egos of those who respect you and care about you. Going beyond that and also sticking up for their rights to do the same, even when it is in opposition or judgement against you, will make egos flare up even more -- because it can not help but sound like back peddling, egotism, arrogance, condescension and patronization -- because ones intelligence becomes insulted. But it only becomes insulted because that intelligence has a beleif system that states that the words being said can not exist in the context being claimed. So it sounds a lot like being asked if you want to buy the Brooklyn bridge.
I've spent much of my life trying to fit in and conform to the expectations of others. This does both myself and them more harm than good. Being myself pisses a lot of people off but ironically -- I've made more friends doing so, than I did when trying to prove myself to everyone else.
With that said, it is up to you to express yourself as yourself, and as per your God given right to do so. Your unique perspective is the only way you can view the world. And you don't owe anyone any evidence or explanation about it. You have the right to think it, feel it and express it. But when you do so, there is a word people will have for it. The word is called "disinformation". Because this world does not respect individuality. Not even all of the truth movements and groups that claim to be on the side of individuality and freedom. They too are merely totalitarian and in denial of it. Well intended, of course. But still totalitarian. And they will demand of you that you prove you have evidence which grants you the right to be who you are and they will claim that unless you win their approval with said evidence, that you have no rights to be who you are and to express it, and that any such expressions are a disinfo psyop.
This is the world we live in, isn't it fun? lol

Physical reality is a holographic illusion. By that I mean, its not as solid as we assume it to be. Kind of like the matrix, in a sense. Atoms are made up of energy which is non-physical and energy is made up of light. So how does light make up physical objects? It can't. We interpret things as solid. Its an illusion. Think of it almost like your computer screen. Its a graphical user interface for reality.
Doesn't mean its not real. This message thread can't be held in your hand, but it does actually exist.
If all things are made up of light, then this includes thoughts, feelings and core belief systems. Everything is all made up of the same thing. What we perceive via the 5 senses is the exact same energy, being interpreted in 5 different ways. Therefore, thoughts, feelings and core beleif systems are yet again the same energy, being dealt with in yet 3 more different ways. Reality truly is perception.
Light is frequency. Funny thing about frequency, is that it attracts itself to itself. So whatever frequency you are resonating, everything compatible with that will attract to you. Its just physics, its nothing too mystical or supernatural. In fact, its completely natural.
This makes our external reality a sort of quantum mirror. Whatever our core belief systems expect, is exactly what we get. This is what Jesus (and many others) have tried to tell us, and its what the Globalist Elites already know, which is why mind control is so important to them. We align with whatever version of reality we have 100% faith in. Seeing as we also live in a multiverse and not a universe, this means you can think of Earth almost like an onion of frequency-based realities.
The lower in vibration you are at, the more you experience that which our egos have labelled as "negative" or "bad". The higher in vibration you resonate, the more you experience that which our egos have labelled as "positive" or "good". No matter which level you're at, technically you have both because without contrast, you couldn't have experience at all. There can be no up without down, no left without right, and so on. Try to have a right side of your body which lacks a left side. Its not possible.
So its not so much that higher frequencies lack contrast, but rather, the contrast isn't such an insufferable pain staking bitch to navigate through. Take as an analogy, Internet Bandwidth. Both dialup and broadband are the same "Internet". You have all the same ports and protocols. All using the same sorts of computer technology. The same World Wide Web. And so on. But with dialup, doing anything is slow, lagging, difficult, pain staking and a royal bitch. Dialup also happens to literally be at a lower frequency of bandwidth. Of course, broadband is faster, easier and more convenient and is at a much higher frequency of bandwidth.
Well, reality works much the same. Heaven and Hell are perceptions and judgements of frequency. Purely ego constructs. We can get "trapped" in a frequency when we lock into it by way of negative judgement. So we are then insisting that reality can only be one way and no other way. So we trap ourselves into experiencing only that one way.
So your grandmother wasn't completely wrong. But with no disrespect meant to her, I feel that her perspective on it was rather limited. Heaven, Hell and everything between are both here and both now. Before you were born, your consciousness was experiencing whatever reality it was experiencing, and after this life -- it will be experiencing other realities. What those consist of exactly, I'm not able to know. But I can tell you that one thing which always holds true -- is that whatever frequency you align with, this will determine the sorts of experiences you have. Be that here on Earth or after this life.
As Jesus said: on Earth as it is in Heaven.
As above, so below.
His point was simply that as you believe, so it is. Welcome to the matrix, Neo
