Yet another example of what I always say: people don't want the truth, they want the false sense of appearing correct in front of their peers in order to emotionally and psychologically compensate for past fears and traumas. This is why people typically can't just "agree to disagree" and instead they get hostile as if their very life depends on it. This is because the "fight or flight" part of the brain makes them feel as if their life does depend on it. It is why SJWs can't differentiate between "offensive speech" and "real literal violence". What speech is and is not offensive is purely subjective, but what is and isn't real literal violence is not. Words don't grow fists and punch people. Opinions don't shoot bullets and kill people. But truth sure does seem to make people feel like they're life is in danger. People just don't want their illusions destroyed.

"The farther a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it" -George Orwell

I think humanity has always been drifted very far from truth just in general. Humanity wouldn't be so brutal with each other otherwise.

The one thing is, I have been searching for the "truth" a lot, but so far my research on reality became futile.
So it makes me wonder if the concept of reality is simply something someone made up just to be a dick.

Truth and facts can be neither seen nor understood when the mind views reality through absolutist and extremist terms. Humanity, regardless of nation or culture, is encouraged to think in very extremist and polarized terms. Reality is a cake, not a light switch. Arrays of multiple simultaneous co-existing variables, and the end result of things depend on what the configuration is. There is not much difference between cake and bread, but the small difference makes a huge impact on the outcome.

So if you really want more understanding and mind expansion, ignore any claims of miracle and magical ideologies, and research into what has gone wrong and why its gone wrong. There are many whats, and many whys. Its all a configuration.

Thank you for showing me that. It really felt inspiring.
Plus, let me just say this:
I believe in God not just because of a church or a book, but because I think that we have a reason to exist.
Whatever those reasons are, differs from person to person.
I believe in magic, because it reminds me on how much I don't know the world, and it inspires me to appreciate how beautiful the planet earth can be.
I am not a conservative, since I believe in rights of women and lgbt people.
I am not a liberal, since I don't think all men are sexist, mostly because I am a white male who just turned 18.

I do not need fairy tails or disney movies or My Little Pony to believe in magic.
I do not need a bible or a religion to believe in God.
And I do not need a political party to know what moral values I have.

Even though my favorite color is red, I refuse to take the red pill because of how it turns people into selfish pricks.
I do not call myself "mature". I act selfish and stupid. But I learned to accept that it is basic human nature.
I do not accept, is when someone tells me that my thoughts and feelings don't matter.

Being selfish and stupid is not basic human nature, but it is a disease that the human collective is currently infected with. The virus that makes us think that the virus is the operating system and that the operating system is a virus, is one of the most insidious viruses to exist. And that is the virus humanity has caught.

What I mean by magical ideologies, is narcissistic gurus that tell you they are the only way. Or someone who says some miracle product will make everything easy and fixed in 2 seconds.

Though humans tend to make things unnecessarily difficult for themselves, this does not mean the extreme polar opposite that everything should be done 1-2-3 snap your fingers easy, either.

As I like to say: if people think it is so difficult for things to be easy, and so easy for things to be difficult -- then what is the difference between difficult and easy? I just destroyed the line between the two.

Thus making the point that reality isn't about "this or that" or "this vs that" but rather understanding it is about "this and that". That reality is a cake, not a light switch.
