Rarity won't stand for this sort of nonsense, apparently. Sweetie Belle is in a spot of trouble, it seems.

Some have mentioned that I don't upload a lot of stuff (and I don't). For those who don't enjoy this latest batch of comics, well... this is one reason why... I dunno, I'll do a journal on why I tend to hang on to artwork later. If you like these, do leave a comment, I'll appreciate it and maybe I'll be more cavalier about releasing stuff in the future.
I will pre-empt any vitriol and say that yes, any questionable visuals in this strip are censored. It's CENSORED. Seriously.
I tried to achieve the pixelated-box look you get on TV for such matters. Unfortunately, I think I did that at a little too high a resolution for it to be obvious after I shrunk Sweetie Belle to her final size in the frame. Derp. But, we are talking about about, what, twelve pixels, here... I'm sure it's not a big deal, unless you have a phobia of pixelated lines or something. I'm not one to judge.

Yeah, I figured somebody would say that, but I'd rather think of meat sausages as part of the joke. Applejack is secretly grinding up those pigs and selling them to the town without telling them what they're eating.

They keep pigs at sweet apple acres?
I remember sheep and cattle showing up, but don't remember seeing any pigs yet. If they do keep pigs though, the only reason I can see for that is if they *are* for meat. Nobody buys pig milk or pig wool, do they?

The pigs appear in The Show Stoppers, Sisterhooves Social, and Family Appreciation Day, if I recall correctly, and they seemed rather...stupid.
Lauren Faust's original explanation was to suggest that maybe they just needed a place to stay, though that seems less likely each time they show up. I've heard at least four other explanations for them, though, with the truffle idea being the most common. That seems slightly fishy to me, though.

Animals are supposed to be stupid. That the sheep and cattle are intelligent enough to actually talk, but are still kept as farm animals, is horrifying and I try to keep it the hell out of my headcanon.
Eh, I'll go with truffles, mainly because it's the first not-creepy possibility I've become aware of.

Headcanon-wise instead of morbid jokes, I assume those sheep were actually there willingly to sell their wool, not as owned livestock. Applejack was just being kind of a jerk when she locked them in that pen. Cows, too, probably trade their milk for free housing and such.
And then in all likelihood, they have pigs for no other reason than because it's a farm. Farms are just s'posed to have pigs, and that's that, even Applejack wouldn't be able to explain why. However, some people also suggest fertilizer for the crops.

Yeah, apart from that, they're existing as second-class citizens, and are sapient beings, which is frightening all by itself. We don't see many of them living in towns, or earning money - if it's not slavery, they're still definitely "inferior".
I like to just ignore that completely, and pretend that only ponies, dragons and diamond dogs are sapient. Plus of course Discord and Angel Bunny, but those two are both special cases. As for Gummy... we may never know.

To be fair...It's not like our privates are a desert when we aren't having our monthly visits. Even without being horny, we can create juices. Like a river of slimy mucus, it comes forth. If anything, it gets itchy when it gets too dry.
