So I need a break from failing miserably at trying to produce nice animations (sorry watchers, I've got one coming soon, I promise!!)... and then I happen to notice a few MLP-themed application icons are beginning to float about the net... Firefox for example... and this rather amazing piece for Chrome:...And now there's this!
I give you my first attempt at an icon, for media player app VLC. Probably a little rough, but looks fine in use!I'm planning to make others (I haven't seen any for web browsers Opera or Safari yet...) so if you have any app requests feel free to pitch them in the comments!

Still need to figure out wtf the deal is with icons on Linux distros, but chances are those of the penguin persuasion already know exactly what to do, haha.

Download a program called LiteIcon to do it for you, the easy way. [link] Link relevant. Then find a way to convert it from .png to .icns, drag it on op of the VLC icon in the program you just got, and BAM!! Ponies up in yo' Mac.

Eh... well the three of them are stuck, anyways. The only PC I use, I share with the family(2002 Gateway horizontal Windows XP rig-does the job), and my dad isn't into the whole pony thing. So I don't get to change the Icons, or the desktop. The '09 Macbook pro(13 inch) is mostly mine, though, so Everything is pony.

I think I figured out that 40% of my dock icons are pony, and I have a lot of icons. I also changed all the folders on my desktop.

Working on it... just agonising over the colours of the character. Steam logo really doesn't give you much to work with, haha. I can't seem to choose any I like the look of.

Macs are actually way more customizable than iOS devices. You can mod the HECK out of Macs, and according to Apple, they're going to stay that way. If they pulled the plug on that, trust me, they'd lose a LOT of users.

What's an iOS device? Do you mean like an iPhone? All I know is that my Macbook Pro is less customizable than my PC was. (Before any Mac vs. PC war starts, know that I'm not really trying to bash either side here. I recognize that both have there merits, I simply prefer PCs.)

Sometimes you get a cutie mark for your special talent and sometimes you get it for something everyone will remember you for. I'm guessing this pony's mark was for the latter.

As others have mentioned, this reminded me of Pyramid Head. In the world of pastel ponies, Conehead is the physical manifestation of Twilight's anger and guilt over her past actions, to help her come to terms with what she has done. (head-canon)
