Wow, violence much, Pepsi? I guess it's harder to get hurt on the net. Or maybe they really do go around decking each other for fun? ...Yeah, probably not.

Anyway, here it is! Part 2. Quicker than the first, future ones may be a bit shorter/quicker if it doesn't compromise the integrity of the (soon-to-be) story.

I will drag this kicking and screaming into an interesting story arc, just need to finish setting things up.

Am I happy with this one? Sort of. Managing five characters in one comic, with them present in most panels, is tricky for all sorts of reasons.

Really looking forward to future comics though. May be putting up some sort of progress-monitor thing so people know what stage it's in.

Some backgrounds are floating around which others have made, I think. I haven't made any myself, alas! I have some ideas but they pertain to the whole group at the moment rather than individual characters.

I would imagine that's up to them. They're not strictly limited to the digital plane and would have 'normal' voices outside it. I was planning to address this at some point, but not right now as it's not exactly vital for the story. I intended for them to be able to hop between the 'real' and the 'virtual' worlds, so long as they could find a suitable entrance/exit. Seeing as, you know, it's magic, ain't gotta explain shit, etc etc. I like to think they could, using their unique abilities, enter the net through a wireless router, for instance. Think something like Tron, only voluntary and without needing lasers .

So, while they are in the net, some modicum of control over how they look and sound would be within their reach, if they so wished. As far as I'm concerned none of them have been messing with their voices/appearance at the moment, though.

God, this is amazing. I don't QUITE get the story/"plot" as much as I should have, but it's STILL awesome.

That's because there isn't a story here it just sets the environment, a little about the characters, sows the seeds of some ideas and things, that's all. Otherwise dropping everyone straight into the story would've elicited even more 'huh?' comments than these already receive. It's taking three comics just for some people to learn their names and some readers don't know/haven't heard of what browsers they symbolise, etc. Five characters are hard to pick up all at once and it's awkward to put dialogue together with rampant referencing by name in every frame as it just reads awkwardly. Trying to convey where they are and what they're doing without making it painfully obvious and boring to read is awkward for me as well, haha.

So, yeah... a challenge, and a slow start. Actual plot to follow, beginning with part 4 Thanks for looking!
