Description
So I need a break from failing miserably at trying to produce nice animations (sorry watchers, I've got one coming soon, I promise!!)... and then I happen to notice a few MLP-themed application icons are beginning to float about the net... Firefox for example... and this rather amazing piece for Chrome:...And now there's this!
I'm planning to make others (I haven't seen any for web browsers Opera or Safari yet...) so if you have any app requests feel free to pitch them in the comments!
Windows icon here! Thanks to for the conversion!
Mac version here!
Still need to figure out wtf the deal is with icons on Linux distros, but chances are those of the penguin persuasion already know exactly what to do, haha.

On linux, at least in gnome (or gtk, not sure where the code lies), you can set an icon of an app launcher to any image if I'm not mistaken. Haven't done it in a while so I'm not completely sure.

VLC was actually my first thought when I saw this in the Drawfriend. Then I thought, "No, that can't be it!"
Guess I was right.

VLC is best media player!
Did anyone else notice the pony content in their screenshots ? Also shows up in the repositories under Ubuntu (Software Center or Synaptic).

But it's not the first pony to wear a cone.

icons on linux are just .png files...
no need to do anything special
linux is versatile like that

I had the weirdest feeling that this was a Pyramid Head pony and got scared for a second, I think I've been playing too much Silent Hill...

For reference (in my penguin experience) Linux users enjoy 32x32 icons in XPM format (e.g. [link] ).

I so very nearly made it Derpy, you have no idea think I might do one of Derpy wearing that cone like a hat, just because.

Also, this amazing piece of work for Google Chrome by a Deviant who has more icon-making talent in his little finger than I probably have in my entire body

For VLC , which is awesome if you have media which needs playing.
Unless you meant "why did you make it" in which case, because Flash is driving me nuts and I am frustrated and feel bad that I haven't had anything worthy of sharing in like... months.

You misspelled NPC. Also, we're talking about video players.
Look, I use VLC on my desktop that's at least five years old, and it plays 720p like a champ. It only get's sluggish if you try a 1080p video. Which unfortunately, I have and can't play.
