Description
This is a procedure to remove the "More Like This" section next to each deviation and the "More Like This" overlay that appears at the bottom of thumbnails. I don't want to be scrolling to click the 'download' button, so this is my solutionDo not tell me this solution doesn't work for your specific browser. If you have a solution for users using a different browser, feel free to post it below. I do not want you to tell me this isn't good enough for you. I'm not here to fix dA's messes; I've provided a solution that worked for me, not a promise that I'll make everyone happy.
Install instructions - Firefox
Ensure you are using FireFox: www.mozilla.org/en-US/products…
Install Stylish: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firef…
Restart Firefox
Left click the Stylish Icon at the bottom right of the browser to bring up the menu >> Write New Script >> Blank Style...

I don't understand why I should have to install anything to get rid of a feature that should be optional. I don't like the "More Like This" feature.... but I don't think I'll be going through the trouble. I would assume all of the negative feedback on More Like This would give the admins some type of clue that we don't want it... but eh.

This is a patch users can install while the staff make up their minds on what to do. I found it useful, I provide for no other reason than to allow other users to save the time of figuring it out for themselves

What's wrong with the feature?
It's useful for finding more artwork and faving them.

As mentioned in the first line in the description, I don't like scrolling in order to see the download button. Other users requested that the script also remove the 'More Like This' roll over text, and that was an easy fix to add
I'm glad you find it useful, I do not, this is my solution to making the problem go away. I thought it would be useful to share my approach to save others the hassle of going through the same process I went through

It forces artists to advertise other artists beside our own deviations. For those of us that do commissions, that means advertising and redirecting traffic to our competitors. I don't have a problem with the feature itself, but I'd just like it if it were a button we click if we want to see more.

I also want to say that even though I have mature content in my gallery, I'm still a little squeamish about being associated with other mature content out there. I don't want some Internet crusader finding my work through more offensive content, and on the flip side, I don't want my well-to-do watchers getting slapped by thumbnails of pornographic material when they view a relatively tame mature work of my own.
Also, the new feature throws both my OCD and ADHD totally in whack. I don't like the new feature because it's new, and yet I always find myself distracted by it and plunging headfirst into clicking all those other pretty links thus taking my attention away.

I've personally clicked on it multiple times absent-mindedly thinking it was the artists gallery- then it took me elsewhere :/
Then I have to hit the back button a few times to figure out where I came from.

The feature itself is strange because it only shows results pulled from deviant's whole gallery. Last night I saw one picture with the MLT feature and it had four deviations by the main artist and one by another that I had already seen & fav'ed. Give me something I wanna see, not stuff I can drool over all over again.

I use Chrome, yeah. It worked right away for me, so I'm not sure what's different about what you did vs what I did.
