Oh boy a quick one! Yeah figured I’d do the spiders next, getting the hostile mobs out of the way and then I’ll do the other ones.

The Spider was a bit difficult, because I was struggling to make it fit on the page first of all, but then also trying to find a silhouette similar but not identical to the Cave Spider. I settled on this look, drawing inspiration mainly from the Acromantulas in Harry Potter for the head and fat abdomen because of how beautifully gross they look.

The Cave Spider was a lot funnier, mostly because I knew what direction I wanted to take it. It has a much more arched and pointed look, as I wanted to symbolize the immediate threat of poisoning you it posses through its appearance. In addition to that it has red veins along it’s thorax, and elongated mandibles for storing it’s venom.
