Description HURURUIOH*SADOIHISHFDOISH| I HAVE BEEN IN AN ENCLOSURE WITH WOLVES!!!!!!OUH!OUH!OIH YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT U R TALKIN ABOUT RETARD! WOLVES ARE LOVING AND GENTLE NOT DANGEROUS!!!! FUCK YOU WOLF HATER!!!!

I am beyond sick of these retards. I dare you to go out and play with a pack of wild ones. You will probably be another headline splashed across page one about someone getting killed by wolves. But they if they are so loving and gentle, you should not have anything to worry about.

Look at Candice Berner's story. They are not so gentle and loving are they? She was jogging and they attacked her because she was something that did not have horns, claws or fangs. She was easy dinner. They did not do it out of 'revenge' because she was a trapper. They did not do it because they were pissed off, they did it because that is how they are programmed. They are predators. This goes for ANY predator. It is how they are programmed.
'
This also goes out to hybrids. It is the wolf in them that causes them to have that looming threat.

[link] <- known fatal wolf attacks on humans.

No, I do not hate wolves. I like wolves pretty well but I know what they are unlike these uneducated twits who act like they know everything about them. IE. Self-proclaimed wolf expert!

HEY! The Drama Llama paid me a visit!

wolves actually are scared of humans and only attack if they are threatened

Dark-Hyena In reply to Flipster-Wolfie [2013-07-15 10:17:31 +0000 UTC]

I think you're confusing wolves with bears.

Wolves are absolute cowards in defending themselves and their young against humans. The majority of attacks not involving rabies were by wolves treating people as prey, not as threats.

bellemarie02 In reply to ??? [2013-06-26 18:36:26 +0000 UTC]

Wolves DON'T just attack for the fun of it. They USUALLY have a reason, like rabies, are sick, humans attack/mess with them or are starving. I love them, but wild wolves ARE dangerous.

They will attack when fully healthy. Do some research. Wow.

"On March 7th, 1888 at New Rockford in the Dakota Territory as recorded in the Saint Paul Daily Globe, a man and his son were attacked, killed, and eaten by a pack of wolves within yards of their home as the wife watched helpless from the window with an infant in her arms."

omg, can't believe it! but i know it is true, i did some research. but was it really a healthy wolf? wolves aren't that afraid of humans anymore, i guess. but not many wolf attacks were recorded. they are not that common.

Yes. There have been healthy wolf attacks. No, they are not common, but thats not the point. People can't seriously think wolves never attack people.has teeth, will bite

That doesn't mean I'll go all "AMG CUTIE LEMME HUG YOO I LOV YOO SO YOO WONT HURT MEH" whenever I see a wolf (so far I've only seen them in a zoo, though)..

There are seriously people who think wolves kill of revenge? But I do agree that it's humans' fault if they go invade a wolf (or wolf pack)'s territory and get killed.

Pffft wolfaboos are giving sane wolf lovers a bad name

They are endangered in my country.
They used to live all across this country, as far as I know.
But then the forests got cut. Now they only live in one protected region, and in zoos.

Wolves are gentle! They need to trust u first, and honestly, if I was a wolf I would probably grab a human for a snack. Do you realize how hard their life is? Yes, they do attack, but you have to be careful also. We have a different mind than wolves. But that doesn't mean that they're brainless beasts wanting to kill you! I don't agree with this stamp at all. Give wolves a chance.

TheAlphaFemaleShari In reply to celebrating-nothing [2013-08-12 12:40:45 +0000 UTC]

Wolves won't really eat humans. Wolves are actually AFRAID of humans because humans keep freaking killing them for sport all the time and stuff. According to their diet, they mostly eat caribou, deer, elk, moose, bison, buffalo, ect. (btw, I'm not trying to sound like a wolf expert scientist. I'm just telling you the stuff that I know. Yeah, we actually LEARNED about wolves in school for one of our biology units)

celebrating-nothing In reply to TheAlphaFemaleShari [2013-08-13 21:41:38 +0000 UTC]

I know they won't eat humans, :3 theyre afraid and won't attack unless they are threatened. I know a lot about wolves so it's not like I'm saying this blindly, and wolves have been domesticated which is amazing that we know we can trust wolves and be in harmony with them. I just hate it when people say that they're monsters that kill humans and are extremely dangerous like the most poisonous snake or something.

There us a difference between a dog and a wolf. And wolves are dangerous wild predators. There have been cases where a healthy wolf pack attacked humans without being provoked. Thankfully, man-eater wolves are rarer then say, a man-eater tiger or lion.Β

Wolves are dangerous. To claim they aren't is a stupid thing to say. They're predators.Β

And a fun fact: more people are killed by canines then snakes.Β

Shadow-of-Burakku In reply to celebrating-nothing [2013-07-14 08:55:41 +0000 UTC]

Wolves are gentle with each other to an extent, but not always with humans. Fully wild wolves will either see you as strictly dangerous, some sort of prey item, or somewhere in-between (I imagine that's what they think of hooved animals like white-tailed deer). "Having the right attitude" only applies to trained wolves and wolf-dogs. Unlikely to work with fully wild ones.

But, if you insist on proving your point by going out to find a wild pack (as you stated on wanting to do in a response to one of the below commenters to this comment above), I suggest you start in summer time when food will be regular and pups will be old enough to not be quite so defenseless. Also, learn the difference between certain howls. Learn their individual howls by heart, and how they change when they're alerting the pack to a potential meal, when a rival pack is encroaching on their territory, and even when they're just doing role-call to make sure they know where everyone is. Be intricately familiar with their territory borders, and this part is just as important as knowing when they're howling for back-up to chase you away. Remember every little detail, and don't let your guard down. Be aware of other predators in the area, and where their territorial boundaries are, as well. Keep an eye out for migration patterns in prey items so you know where to be to avoid a wolf spotting you and directing the pack toward you during a hunt. Also be aware of water sources, and be sure not to encroach too much on their area of said water source (be downwind if it's a stream or river, try to be on the other side if it's a pond or small lake, etc.). Always keep a weapon on you, even if you don't intend to use it.

There are so many other things that I could tell you, but I can't think of any others at the moment.

They're wild animals, not fucking house pets. I'm not against wolves, but I despise the wolfaboos who obsess over them like you do and spout shit like, "They aren't dangerous" and "wolves are gentle." I like wolves and I can see that they're wild animals and not cuddle bugs, but god damn, wolfaboos can't see that and worship them like some kind of perfect animal.

celebrating-nothing In reply to XNatoX [2013-05-29 23:59:14 +0000 UTC]

excuse me, but I never said that wolves are perfect, or are pets. I don't think any wild animal should be a pet. But they're not as dangerous as they seem. They are afraid of us as much as we are of them. I don't "worship them" or anything. I'm just trying to protect them from ignorant people like you, and the cursing wasn't necessary. And I know much about wolves. I'm not a stupid person making false claims because I think wolves are beautiful or something and that they should be worshipped or something.

I already gave them a chance, and they blew it when they killed humans for no fucking reason. Wolves are NOT gentle, and no matter what you say, you can't justify that. If they are so gentle then go into the forest and find a pack of wild wolves, we'll see how gentle they are now.
