Description HURURUIOH*SADOIHISHFDOISH| I HAVE BEEN IN AN ENCLOSURE WITH WOLVES!!!!!!OUH!OUH!OIH YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT U R TALKIN ABOUT RETARD! WOLVES ARE LOVING AND GENTLE NOT DANGEROUS!!!! FUCK YOU WOLF HATER!!!!

I am beyond sick of these retards. I dare you to go out and play with a pack of wild ones. You will probably be another headline splashed across page one about someone getting killed by wolves. But they if they are so loving and gentle, you should not have anything to worry about.

Look at Candice Berner's story. They are not so gentle and loving are they? She was jogging and they attacked her because she was something that did not have horns, claws or fangs. She was easy dinner. They did not do it out of 'revenge' because she was a trapper. They did not do it because they were pissed off, they did it because that is how they are programmed. They are predators. This goes for ANY predator. It is how they are programmed.
'
This also goes out to hybrids. It is the wolf in them that causes them to have that looming threat.

[link] <- known fatal wolf attacks on humans.

No, I do not hate wolves. I like wolves pretty well but I know what they are unlike these uneducated twits who act like they know everything about them. IE. Self-proclaimed wolf expert!

HEY! The Drama Llama paid me a visit!

I love wolves for their grace, and the way they take of each other. Yes they are cute, but I still know they are a PREDATOR they eat meat. It's what they do, they are dangerous. But that doesn't mean that you should call them man eaters, because they're not they are only trying to SURVIVE just like us. There are very few wolf attacks on humans, even the ones that do happen they were probably defending what was once their land before us humans took over. They were here first. Remember they are probably more scared of you than you are of them. And to those who say that all wolves should be killed, I'm sorry but that's just wrong, it's sick!

Ugh, agreed. If they're tamed (Or as tame as they can get with humans) or in captivity, and you're with a special trainer who know's absolutely what they're doing, there shouldn't be too much to worry about. Fact is they're wild animals, it's not their fault if they kill a human, as you said, they're predators, they need the food.

Anyone who uses the Ancestor of Dogs example is being ridiculously unreasonable. Dogs are domesticated. Wolves are not. Wolves can turn on you, not because they're "mean" or "angry at tha hy00man race" but because they're wild.

wolves are not cuddling little plush toys. people who say that are idiots. they can be dangerous, yes, however, they find us as a threat. you cannot go up to a wolf and expect it to come up and hug you. no. not a chance.
they can be very dangerous when threatened, however, there has not been one report on a healthy wolf attack since 1982. other records were not kept until that time. jamie and jim dutcher have lived 13 years of their life with the sawtooth pack, however, they didn't just walk right up to them. took some time to earn the packs trust. but they managed.
some people just need to do research instead of believing what they hear! so yes, wolves can be very dangerous, but with exceptions.
just gotta accept who they are. and who they aren't.

Wolves are predadators. Beautiful creatures, but still predators. Wolves for the most part are afraid of humans, but occasionally might attack if they think it's food.
Wolves have emotions. They love their pack. They fear the scary. They're curious. They get bored. They probbably even pray if wolves believe in any sort of god. That doesn't mean wolves won't run away or even attack if some idiot wolfaboo tries to hug them, get their autograph, or even do you-know-what.
To wolfaboos: Wolves are beautiful and intelligent, but still dangerous.
To lupophobes: They're not that scary unless you get one angry.
To haters: For Pete's sake they're not demons!

BlueLegend15 In reply to ??? [2012-12-29 04:37:52 +0000 UTC]

I love wolves. They are my favorite animals. I wouldn't go out in the woods and hug one.

Most of the wolfaboos who think wolves are "lovable cuddly furballs" are just young kids. Yes, wolves have emotions, they do not have emotions like humans. If they kill a human, it is not out of "revenge". They only attack when they are starving, have rabies, or a last resort.

I do not completely agree with this stamp, I do not agree with the wolfaboos who think wolves are love machines. Wolves are very beautiful creatures, pretty to look at, and a human death caused by wolves is very rare.

To the wolfaboos: Wolves are not big puffs of fur that will lick you and cuddle with you and love you forever (unless they were raised domestic and are used to humans), so don't you go out in the forest and be disappointed when a wolf runs away from you instead of hugging you.
To the wolf haters: Wolves are not evil war machines that kill everyone and everything they see.

Her point is that wolves are predators. Predators want prey. Not all people who encounter wolves will be attacked, however, that doesn't mean find them in the wild and expect them to lick your hand and frolic into the sunset with you. You should respect the boundaries of all wild animals.

All dogs are sub species of the gray wolf so basicly you said that my puppy poses a huge threat even after playing with me as if he knew noone else. seams reasonable

👍: 0 ⏩: 3

sheonapurple In reply to smash-the-hedgehog [2013-06-01 23:28:59 +0000 UTC]

Dogs are domesticated animals. They were bred to interact with humans in a positive way. They also live with humans and so they are used to being around humans. Wolves, on the other hand, are wild animals and can and will kill humans. Unlike a dog, wolves don't live with humans, so if they see one they are most likely to feel threatened or scared.
And actually, what you just said is true. Though puppies don't usually pose a threat to humans, grown dogs do. What do you think those teeth and claws are for? If a dog (or any animal really) feels threatened, it will attack. My mother was once bitten in the face by a dog and because of that half of her face became paralyzed for quite some time.

dogs have been with humans a long time, they live around humans are raised by humans and theres alot of differences bweteen wolves and dogs. im not an expert but im just saying

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

smash-the-hedgehog In reply to ImperialEnchantress [2013-02-22 21:49:35 +0000 UTC]

the main reason dogs exist is because humans started raising wolf pups like some baboons raise puppies born of stray dogs but the diferences you speak of are only physical features that can be found in wolves every time an animal breeds its traits are past down to its ofspring and often the traits are often amplified so say you have a wolf with slightly drooping ears and it breeds with an other wolf like that then thier ofspring will have droopier ears untill you have a wolf with its ears laying flat to its head all the time same with any other trait but the dna of wolves and dogs are too simalar to be considered a seperate species althogh behaviour is another thing sure diferent dogs do diferent things but a wolf (with the right features) can be trained to do the verry same things in fact it would be easier to train a wolf for these tasks two things however that are almost 100% a diference is the black fur only wolves born with small traces of dog in thier dna will have black fur and the canibalism yes wolves eat sick and weak members of thier packs or fallen members of others althogh they only do when desperate.

IrishCatt In reply to smash-the-hedgehog [2012-12-29 00:39:03 +0000 UTC]

Yes, all dogs are descended from wolves. There's a difference between a domesticated dog that is very distantly related and a dog bred with a wolf. Calm your tits.

smash-the-hedgehog In reply to IrishCatt [2012-12-29 00:59:52 +0000 UTC]

a dog's dna is too simalar to the gray wolf that they can not be a seperate species the dog is simply a breed of a subspecies

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

IrishCatt In reply to smash-the-hedgehog [2012-12-29 01:19:56 +0000 UTC]

Yes, a dog's DNA is similar, but they are not wolves, therefore they are not a "subspecies". Only hybrid dogs are directly related.
