The zip file contains:1 script called CurlScope Batch
1 script called CurlScope Single
1 script called CurlScope 3D Hack Batch
1 script called CurlScope 3D Hack Single
The 3D Hack ones are (you guessed it
) meant to run on the 3D Hack version of Apophysis - however, they do not produce a 3D image - just a regular flat one. You need the waves2 plugin and the crackle plugin to run the scripts. These plugins are available in The Aposhack Plugin Pack at [link]
The outputs from Curlcope Batch and CurlScope 3D Hack Batch are saved to your Apophysis install directory as pd_CurlScope.flame.
If you like one of the flames, save it someplace else, because the script will overwrite the pd_CurlScope.flame file the next time it is run.
Things to try:
- Try different variations (plugins) for transforms 3 and 4 (the green and blue ones)
- Try slight rotation, moving and/or scale on transforms 1 and 2 (red and yellow) to get different effects.
- Add a Final Transform.

Hi! May I ask you something I've been trying to find an answer to? When a script produces a seemingly endless number of different images, is it mandatory to tweak them? Or is it okay to just save one, if it looks good, and call it your own? I'm still quite new to Apophysis and want to make sure I do the right thing. This is a question I've had a hard time finding an answer to. Maybe you can help? Your script is beautiful. Thank you!

Hi, It depends on who makes the script. I guess it's best to ask. For me, this is okay - I don't mind. But for someone else, it may not be okay. Usually they would say somewhere that it must be tweaked. It's a good question. You could also ask in the APOSHACK chat room at [link] They are very friendly there.

Thank you! I'll keep asking people. Maybe I'm overly conscientious, but I lie awake at night worrying, "Should I have tweaked that more?" It's kind of funny! With a flame, you know when you've changed it enough. With scripts, it's more confusing. Again, thanks!
