Description
ADAPT is a project I have been working on for the past few months. It is borderless, minimal without hindering usage, and completely free. All I ask is that if you like it, please let me know! Additional wallpapers and necessary files are included in the zip. I am already fixing certain small issues and will release the next version in a matter of days. Final - 8/23 - I have cleaned up all of the bugs that I am aware of and will not like continue to update the theme. I attempted to port it to Windows 10, but there are many things that are not possible yet in Win10 that made this theme different for Win8/8.1. 1.0 - 8/15 - Fixed many many issues.
0.9 - I am aware and fixing a few issues: like that sometimes calibri shows up instead of Arial in extremely specific instances. The theme was originally supposed to be in Calibri but I changed my mind a day before release. Will be changing loading animations/graphics left over from SPECTRUM Beta also.
-INSTRUCTIONS
1. Extract + Install fonts.
2. Paste this folder in the themes folder. Open ADAPT.theme
3. Download and install OldNewExplorer. Under Appearance, check the first five boxes, set Appearance & Status Bar Style to Default.

4. Download and run WinAeroGlass. You will have to run WinAeroGlass.exe after every restart or set it to automatically run. This is the only thing I could find to completely remove borders/shadows. If anyone knows a better program let me know!

5. Download and run WinAeroTweaker. Under "Appearance" go to "Window Borders" set border padding to 0 & borders to 1 (the lowest possible).

6. Restart.
OPTIONAL: Download and install Windows 7 Navigation Buttons Customizer. Running in Administrator mode, Under "Go/Stop/Refresh/Dropdown" select it and click change and find the corresponding bmp in this folder. Restart and there should no longer be the ugly + non-important explorer buttons!

OPTIONAL: Download and install Startisback or Start8 and change the start button to the corresponding image located in this folder.

When I installed this theme...something went wrong. Not sure what. But now my screen is flashing black to grey. I can't access Win+C or Restart+S and I can't use restore points either... Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling Windows?

It's a really common issue so I'm not sure what causes it, but for me it happens when you try to install a theme intended for a different version of Windows. System Restore works for me, but if you don't have a restore point then reinstalling Windows is probably the fastest option.

I tried to refresh it but it wouldn't do that so I resorted to resetting the OS. But thankfully, (somehow) it saved my files.

It's a very nice theme, and I love it.
A question, though. Do you have the option to align the color of the taskbar with the window color? for example, if you change the color of the window, the task bar also changes? The black taskbar kinda melts on my desktop wallpaper.

If you download a program called Classic Shell, you can change the taskbar background color/transparency. I do not intend on adding a light taskbar version

I have spent the last two days trying to make it work, but there are a few things that make it somewhat impossible to completely prt this to Win10. I was able to get maybe 70% of it to be the same, but elements like the taskbar right now are unchangeable from my end until someone figures out how to edit it. It should still be there but the filler text is probably the same color, and since there was never a background it looks invisible.
