Description
So here it is, @ better resolution than the youtube oneI had the idea of a remake of Dune for a loOoong time, more in the moebius way wich fits more to the Dune universe in my opinion. (The Lynch version is still full of great ideas and memorable moments)
And yes i could have used more work on breathing, animation and all, sorry about that.. it would be too much time consuming to raise the level @ this stage..
But it gave me the envy to start another animation, so stay tuned, more should come soon

Epic describes that animation pretty well.
Whats weird is that i just picked up a copy of that novel a little bit ago too. I'm really stoked about reading it now.

This is so awesome. I've never watched the movie Dune, but I remember hearing that it inspired Star Wars.
After watching this, I now want to actually see it, or read it since books are always better then movies.

Great re-imagining of the opening. I think the overall concept you have is (gasp!) an improvement on the original film.

GODDDSDAMN ITS FRICKING AWESOME!!!!!
love the smoke effects.
adds more realism.
I've read the Dune novels and seen the 2-3 movies that are floating around out there and your starter bit is the best one.
Wish you could do a Full movie, I'd buy that for $$$$!

Outstanding, in a place full of extraordinary art - not an easy feat to pull off. Good job

Awesome design. Now I have to go watch that movie and be disapointed that it's not as good as this. I will stay tuned for more, sir.

Wow, very well done. For some reason I thought she was going to slowly undress while speaking. The internet has rotted my mind.

This looks awesome Pascal. I really love your style in 3D and have for a long time. I've had your mermaid piece as my wallpaper more times than most .
Cheers,
