ImageSunrise over the tors above Burrator. I planned this shot a few weeks ago and just waited until the right conditions came along, I was hoping for a little more frost but I couldn't pass up the crystal clear conditions and strong morning light.
To achieve a greater image quality I used two techniques to capture the scene. The shot is a combination of 4 images in 2 sets. The first two were taken focussed on the foreground and set at two exposures to cover the required tonal range. The next two focussed on the horizon and again for tonal range. I then combined the images in Photoshop and made minor adjustments.
