Yeah, so, I saw "Megamind" and it proceeded to consume my soul. I haven't fangirled over a piece of American animation this hard since... Gargoyles, probably.

Unfortunately, my normal style doesn't translate over to Western character designs very well, so the style on this image is a little... weird. I like how his cape turned out, though. And my usual boring backgrounds return, since I can never come up with creative scenery.

Title and image based off the first non-Memoirs fanfic I've written in nearly a decade, "No Use for Rainy Days", in which Megamind reminisces about posing like a badass with a wine goblet, then totally butchers the pronunciation of "Merlot".
