Description: One of the largest land mammals of North America, the bison. These shaggy beasts roamed the American plains, in a thousand years to today, in herds, and like to graze more, and browsing the tree bark less. The American Buffalo was descended from a Long-Horned Bison of the Pleistocene Period, where they can survive from extinction. Nowadays in present day, we humans used the buffaloes, as livestock, so we can used them for their hide, and their meat, as we increase the bison's population, in order to release them into the wild, or we can use them for the meat and fur. The bison and the domestic cattle can crossbreed so that their offspring was a beefalo(a hybrid between a bison and a domestic cattle). In America, that the bison's predators are wolves and grizzly bears. Was it really rare that the bison had displayed homosexual behaviors, males did much more than females. Herds of both male and female bison never mingled up, until mating season.
