Description
What's up folks, Patchi1995 here, and tonight I was making a contest entry for PTParmenTOONS for a mystery creature hoodie contest. Since I was trying my best, and here are the descriptions. Here it was, an animal who better not be a tiger, nor a monkey, but a mustelid who resembles a mix between a canid and a hyaena, while related to weasels, a False Dhole.Mustelocanis lyssasmenos, known as the False Dhole. This animal who got its name, resembling a true dhole Cuon alpinus, but it was close to weasels. Not only that, these dhole-sized thieving carnivores had their brownish fur with whitish undersides, and had hyaena-like stripes. The kits are born blackish fur, and developed sharp-teeth, in half of similar mannerisms to spotted hyaenas.
This was from clue 1: A creature whose brown with white undersides and black stripes on its back and arms.
A False Dhole had a long bushy tail and short ears, thus this animal is trying to resemble a canid, despite it's a mustelid. They also had sharp teeth, as their cheek teeth are even stronger than those bone-crushing carnivores, but making these scavengers use their toothy mouths like that chainsaws, when hungry for bones(see on bottom left, the remains of a Greater Capybara), meat, and animals, from small birds, to tapirs, to even a jaguar or a puma.
This was from clue 2: It has ears and a tail of unknown size and shape.
False Dholes thrived in habitats in South America, from pampas, to wetlands, to mostly the tropic rainforests, where even a jaguar and the green anaconda snakes are among the apex predators. These wily weasel-like animals had their dhole-like proportions, adapted to thrive and hunt in small packs of up to 12, ruled by a mated pair(similar mannerisms with wolves, dholes, dingoes, African wild dogs, foxes, and even brown hyaenas), violently taking down bigger animals, and fighting predators over kills.
This was clue 3: It lives within the rainforests of South America.
A False Dhole was highly nocturnal, because they can see in the dark, all thanks to their big owl-like eyes, they can see all the way with their eyes, in similar mannerisms to chameleons, thus looking like idiots, but don't let their cuteness fooled you, they're extremely intelligent and dangerous, even more dangerous when infected with rabies. Even a single False Dhole wouldn't stand a chance against either a stampede, a group of humans who outsmarted them, etc..
This was clue 4: It has big googly eyes.
Well here it is, an animal whose close to a size with this Espeon, where a False Dhole is the animal for PT's hoodie.
