HEY, I'M ALIVE :V Awfully sick, and my nose running like a faucet, but alive
So here we are, officially meeting our protagonist! Remember that little girl with the super kawaii hypno? Yeah, she grew up...
Also, Shauna and Calem, ladies and gents! And stay-at-home dad (because I'm WAY TOO hipster for ''mothers'' pfeh, who do you think I am?)
You know you're the loveliest person in the universe, do you? Thanks for the help, and sorry I didn't correct a whole lot of the mistakes, I'm getting so lazy and I just want to sleep forever :'D (If you aren't watching that guy already, what are you still doing here??? GO READ HIZ SEXAY NUZLOCKE!)

Oh man, what a great way to start! Two pages in and I'm all ready hooked! Shauna's hair looks especially awesome in your style (almost plausible, even XD) Love that derpy Espurr behind Calem, too.
Is the house number a reference to anything, by the way? I know 108 is like the eastern version of 13, but I may be reading too much into it (it's 1am here, so... yeah, brain's winding on down).

It is indeed a reference to Oriental religions, but, you might ask yourself, why 109 and not 108? What is the meaning behind it? Well... I want to see you dig a bit deeper in it before actually revealing what was my point behind it

As for the 109, okay, let me think here... I don't know much about Oriental religions, but I'm pretty sure that there are 108 temptations that humans face on the road to enlightenment. I think. All right, I'm gonna see what Google has to say. Oh, sweet I was right! But I'm not sure how that connects to Yseult. Let me look somewhere else.
Okay, this is interesting; some schools of Buddhism believe there are 108 feelings which might have more to do with Yseult's, um, situation. I doubt a Hypno's Dream Eater is like anything a human has ever felt before, so it's probably safe to say that Yseult has experienced one more feeling than most other people, putting her at 109.
I might be waaay off, but this was fun ^^ I love this kind of stuff. I actually noticed the number because I'm starting to sketch up a comic of my own and I know that artists don't usually add things like that 'just because.' Plus, 108 is cool, but 109? Awesome. (Oh, and this is kinda funny, I actually submitted that last comment at 1:08 am. Didn't notice until I hit submit and checked out the clock or I would've mentioned it. Pretty freaky, right?)

It has indeed something to do with the feelings, not the temptations
She lived through something humans weren't meant to survive, and in my head,what she felt was something like, Clockwork Orange x100! She doesn't have scars like most people that got attacked by wild monsters, her arm didn't get ripped off from a Dragonite, she lived something... different. The Hypno didn't leave with one of her limbs, it left with a part of her mind. What she felt, what she feels, isn't natural. She is close to feeling like a normal human being but... not quite. Like 109 is close to 108 but... not quite.
Yeah, I also love this kind of stuff, it puts a whole lot more of personality in a story X) And I would love to see your comic, if you want help, I volunteer

And thanks so much for the offer! It's my first time making a comic and it's just a sketchy draft right now. I'm probably gonna start actually drawing some real pages in a few days. It's been a lot of fun so far ^^ And hopefully the art will improve as I go XD

Making comics is a great way to improve your art, it gives you a long time project and you don't have any excuse to just stop drawing at one point 8D! And it is a lot of fun ^^! So I really want to see your soon 8D
