This is my piece for the 2013 ESS , and I've never done a secret santa before, so this was fun cx
I got the lovely, talented and super amazing ~jasmine-autumn for the secret santa hehe.

I really do hope this is good enough for you, because you said you wanted a braid in her hair (And I couldnt do a full out braid, I tried though XD) So I gave her super long hair and stuff cx (theres also a braid in it)

I had actually finished this the day after I found out I had you, but I wanted to keep you in suspense and guessing as to who had you cx

I think this manipulation is definitely one of the prettiest I've seen. You do need to zoom in to appreciate the work here. Gorgeous.
In my opinion, the mane and tail are beautifully drawn; the detail is incredible. The highlights and low lights fit the hair so well, and there's twists and clumps and even a gorgeous plait, and some delicate beads in the mane. The body itself looks well defined and detailed. I think your technique is perfection, I hope to follow in your footsteps.
The lighting has been very well done, and unlike other pieces, it doesn't upstage the horse due to a soft glow whereas others can be too harsh. The background is also well detailed, neither too sharp or too blurred.
I have seem similar pieces, however, none are this well done or have a better impact in general.
You've done an amazing job! I'll be watching you! (Literally!)
