Jonagold, son of Applejack and Rarity, remains somewhat isolated from the majority of the mane 6 and their children during his foalhood years. His first and only friend through schooling years is Lavender Tea, whom he considers a sister though their parents have... complications.
However, he later finds a friend (more than a friend, even) in Razzle Dazzle, first and only son of Pinkie Pie and Pokey Pierce. Their first encounter results in an immediate spark (and a flustered Razz) and the two quickly make plans to see one another again. While their relationship doesn't officially become official for what seems like eternity, ponies swear it began from the moment they locked eyes.
