Occupation: Self-proclaimed "Hibernation Counselor" to animals residing in the forest, Friend and protector to all critters (she has a soft spot for nocturnal animals), makeshift veterinarian, healer, singer (she doesn't like to sing for ponies, just animals)

Nightingale suffers abandonment and trust issues, which makes it hard for her to truly connect with other ponies. She dislikes many things-brats, racing, ponies who brag, annoying solicitors who somehow manage to scramble over the wall of her well-hidden home to try and sell her various kinds of back scratchers, and even children. However, from a very young age she fell in love with one thing and one thing only- the Everfree Forest and all it's wonders, from clouds that move on their own to gigantic, never before seen animals. Since her discovery of the wonder hidden deep within Everfree's thick branches, Nightingale has sworn to protect the forest and all it's inhabitants from the destruction brought about by ponykind.
