Frogsplash was originally based off of Homestuck's Land of Frost and Frogs
Looked up to Jadesnow a lot. She was thrilled to get her as a mentor. She is thrilled to be reunited with her in StarClan.
Sometimes she would get hiccups. They would sound like tiny frog croaks.
She would forget to put her tongue back in her mouth a lot.
She was obsessed with birds, and fascinated by them. Hummingbirds were her favorite.
She loved snow, and actually performed better in snowy conditions. She liked swimming too.
After Fallenstar took over as leader, Frogsplash promised herself that she would rebuild her mother's Clan to it's former glory. She died before she saw this happen.
She actually had both Burrowtoes and Silversoul as suitors; but clicked better with Silver.
She was never planned to have kits but she was such a wonderful mother.
Her death was the most tragic of all my characters.

I research a lot of stuff from real cat designs :3 and choose pieces that I like heehee

i try to make Straight stripes but then i cant get the colours right ;A:

I do one color (the brown) on a layer above the actual color, then i do stripes all over, and then I turn that stripe layer to "overlay" and the colors just match

It was past sunhigh by the time Berrykit woke up. Restless and ready to get her paws moving, the small gray she-kit propped herself up on her haunches and yawned, her mouth revealing a set of sharp teeth, wondering what had woke her. She glanced around for her littermates and spotted the familiar pelt of Plushkit and Fernkit curled up together, but a sharp pain in her belly distracted her, making her wince as she muffled a squeak of pain. Berrykit, frowning, stumbled to her paws and padded around the soft calico form of Frogsplash, nose twitching. Slightly more awake now, she prodded her mother in the cheek.
"Mum?" she whispered, poking her again. "Are you up?"

"What is it, my darling?" Frogsplash cooed in a very sleepy voice, barely opening one eye to look at her daughter, wondering what she needed. Was she perhaps tired of waiting for her turn to go out hunting? Frogsplash had taken Heatherkit, Spotkit, Plushkit and Fernkit already; she enjoyed their one-on-one time. Berrykit's prodding continued, and the caliby curled her tail around her other sleeping kittens as she purred.

(THIS WILL BE A TEST OF MY WILL. I swear, it's hella hard not to type a lot with Berry. WHAT IS WITH HER.)
Berrykit pressed her cold nose into the fur on Frogsplash's cheek, her ears pinned back to her head and her tail lashing uneasily. "I-I think something's wrong with me," she mewed, trying to keep quiet, keeping in mind that her littermates were still sleeping. She felt bad for waking Mum up, especially since it was still relatively early, but she was trying not to panic. "My belly hurts!" She plopped down in front of Frogsplash, not mindful of her hurt stomach, and groaned loudly as her belly hit the ground. She tried to shuffle closer to Frogsplash, holding back a couple of tears. "I 'unno why, but it hurts!"

Frogsplash woke up instantly at the sound of her daughter's distress. She touched her nose to her daughters and realized Berrykit's was rather dry; never a good sign. And Bellyache? The calico wondered what could have caused such a disturbance in her daughter's body. She hadn't been eating any solid food yet, at least to Frogsplash's knowledge, so it couldn't have been rotten prey, could it?
Then again, she did recall hearing from one of the other warriors...
"Berrykit, did you eat any of the prey from the fresh-kill pile yesterday? Maybe with Nightkit?"

"Yes...we had a mouse," Berrykit sniffed again. Ma usually brought fresh-kill from the pile and softened it for them, but she hadn't thought of that when she and Nightkit shared the mouse. "I...I also had raven with Springpaw," she admitted, wincing. Mum probably wouldn't approve, as ravens were one of the tougher pieces of fresh-kill, she found out later, but she had really, really wanted to try it. Ma only ever seemed to bring mice and voles, and so she had been determined to try something new.
What she hadn't accounted for was also swallowing several feathers on accident before Springpaw showed her how to pick them off properly, and then finding out how stringy raven could be. Now all she had to look forward to was maybe a scolding and a horrible bellyache—not cool.

"I see," Frogsplash nodded, wrinkling her nose at the mention of a raven. Crow-food, really. She remembered seeing Lostpaw dragging it back to camp with the proudest gleam in her eyes. Of course it would make Berrykit sick.
Without a moment's hesitation, she bent down and instructed her daughter to wait for a little bit, and dashed off to the Nursery to gather the needed herbs from Mothtrail.
She returned with the assorted leaves and seeds wrapped in a small but neatly tucked leaf, and placed them in front of Berrykit. "I want you to eat all of this, okay Berrykit? It will make you feel better."

Groaning, Berrykit shook her head stubbornly and scowled up at Frogsplash. Being ill had always been one of her trigger points, one of the few times she was bad-tempered and difficult to deal with. She faintly recalled having a fever once, back when she was still a kittypet, and Mother had grown very exasperated with her, because Berrykit had refused to take any of the medicine the Twolegs tried to give her.
"I don't wanna," she mumbled sullenly. She had seen cats having to eat leaves from that medicine cat—what was his name again?—and the faces they made when they swallowed them. "They'll taste nasty."

"Yes, but they'll help you get better faster." Frogsplash could tell her daughter was going to be difficult, but luckily patience was one of her strong suits. Her expression softened. "You do want to get better, don't you? Or do you want this bellyache to last until you're an apprentice?"
Getting kits to take herbs was more challenging than any warrior Frogsplash would have to fight. She prayed none of her other little ones got sick.

As bad as her bellyache was, Berrykit actually had to frown and think about it. Was it actually possible to have a stomachache last so long? Another cramp seized her body, though, distracting her. It wasn't too sharp of a pain, but it did hurt.
Forgetting all about the herbs, fear swept through her and she looked up at Frogsplash with some alarm, her eyes filling with tears again. "T-that's not going to happen, right?" she stammered fearfully. "Am I going to die?" she sniffled, not quite understanding what was going on. "Oh, I knew that mouse probably wasn't really dead! It's come back to life and it's going to kill me from the inside because I ate it! Then I won't become an apprentice and then warrior and get to hang out with Nightkit and Pantherkit and Springpaw anymore!" she wailed pitifully.

Frogsplash, with the gentleness of a mother's love that was passed down from Patchstar herself, scooped up her tiny crying child in her fuzzy forepaws and brought her close, rasping her tongue soothingly over Berrykit's fluffy pelt.
"I'm only teasing, but it will be painful for a while, and mama doesn't like seeing you in pain. I want you to be up and playing with your littermates, and with Nightkit and Hiccupkit, even if it means you have to eat some yucky stuff."
The rhythmic motions continued. "Sometimes," the calico continued, "we have to sacrifice little things for the greater good. Like a warrior giving their life to save a Clan," she booped Berrykit's nose with her own, "or like eating herbs to get better. You understand, right?"
