Frogsplash was originally based off of Homestuck's Land of Frost and Frogs
Looked up to Jadesnow a lot. She was thrilled to get her as a mentor. She is thrilled to be reunited with her in StarClan.
Sometimes she would get hiccups. They would sound like tiny frog croaks.
She would forget to put her tongue back in her mouth a lot.
She was obsessed with birds, and fascinated by them. Hummingbirds were her favorite.
She loved snow, and actually performed better in snowy conditions. She liked swimming too.
After Fallenstar took over as leader, Frogsplash promised herself that she would rebuild her mother's Clan to it's former glory. She died before she saw this happen.
She actually had both Burrowtoes and Silversoul as suitors; but clicked better with Silver.
She was never planned to have kits but she was such a wonderful mother.
Her death was the most tragic of all my characters.

"StarClan has fed you lies, for it is I who shall win!" Frogsplash crouched in a playful position, tail flicking back and forth as she prepared to pounce, giving Leapfern plenty of warning. She pounced, while her claws were sheathed into soft paws, they landed on Leapfern's back and muzzle in a friendly tackle. Frogsplash began gently nibbling on her friend's ear.

Leapfern pretended to growl lowly as if threatening Frogsplash, laughing as she nibbled on her ear. "You have always been such a cheat, Amazingstar!" She hissed even though she desperately tried to keep a stoic yet angered face as if this was a real battle going on. The silvery she-cat quickly moved herself around underneath her friend's pin to show her playful struggle. "I give up!" She burst out laughing, losing her serious 'leader' behavior.
"It's too much!" Leapfern chortled, staying completely still underneath Frogsplash (minus the giggles). "But you are still a cheat." She quickly said after her laughter died down.

Frogsplash giggled loudly, "My father taught me that if you want to win, sometimes you need to cut corners," she batted her friend's flank lightly. "If I win, who cares how it happened? Heehee," her laughter matched that of Leapfern's.

Leapfern snorted, rolling her eyes in a playful manner. "But I'm better at hunting! I'm a great jumper too!" She smirked as if she had had won the argument when there wasn't really one going on right now, it was just the two acting like kits... in the middle of the clearing. "We are so mature right now." Leapfern burst out laughing.

"You're just jealous 'cause I'm a better swimmer than you," Frogsplash laughed, looking around to see if anyone was watching them. She noticed a few eyes dart away, but her Clanmates all held smiles on their faces. Surely it was good to see their fellow denmates in high spirits after the War, right?

Leapfern snorted, rolling her eyes. "Oh? I'm a better hunter!" The silvery she-cat was obviously a wonderful hunter but she wouldn't let Frogsplash know that she failed to catch a squirrel yesterday; that was embarrassing. "I'm only learning how to swim, shut up you fuzzbrain!" She laughed, shrugging her shoulders in the process.

Marigoldflame turned her head sharply, the battle was still going on around them, but even a Cat that enjoyed fighting as much as her couldn't go on forever, she'd currently managed to find a quiet place where she'd settled with a few other Moonclan and Snowclan Cats to get her breath back, she knew it wouldn't be long until they were discovered, so was readying herself to fight at any second.
She hated the idea that she was hiding, or at least that was what an enemy Cat might assume when they saw her crouched in the bushes like this.

Frogsplash had broken off with her 'fight' with Frogpaw, the DawnClan apprentice, taking a few steps back into the dense foliage to catch her breath. While she and Frogpaw were tussling they overheard some commotion with the leaders, and Frogsplash didn't really want to get involved. She wasn't the best at fighting anyhow, so she felt much safer here.
Panting slightly from her exerted energy, she scanned the area and noticed Marigoldflame crouching in the bushes on the other end of camp. Slowly, Frogsplash made her way over to her best friend, calling to her as she neared her.
"Marigoldflame! You okay?"

Marigoldflame jumped slightly, ear flicking in Frogsplash's direction, "I-I'm not hiding" she assured her friend quickly, although it was more for her own sake as she was sure that even if Frogsplash had thought that, then she wouldn't have judged her for it.
She held out one of her paws, she twisted it quite hard following one of her fights and was hoping it would stop throbbing enough for her to walk on it if she rested it for long enough.

Frogsplash stifled a laugh, "I didn't think you were. I was asking if you were uninjured," the she-cat looked over her friend's pelt and, though there were new wounds laced across her beautiful pelt, Marigoldflame looked to be in good shape. It was when Marigoldflame lifted a paw that Frogsplash got worried.
"Did you hurt your paw?" she frowned.

Marigoldflame nodded, tucking the paw back under her chest, "I think I must have twisted it" she explained, "I'm hoping it isn't serious and I'll be able to join back in again in a while, it just isn't taking my weight at the moment," she didn't try to demonstrate, as she knew it would set any healing that had been done, at the very least, back a few hours.
"It's my own fault I've been pushing myself too much, I've been in more fights in this battle than any other time in my life." To be fair the only real battle she'd been in prior to this was the raid on Dawnclan, and personally she still counted her fight with Deadsoul when they'd been Kits.

"Well, take it easy," Frogsplash mewed quietly. "It's Fallenstar they want; I'm sure they aren't trying to do us harm." The calico's worried expression soon faded into a gentle understanding. "I think it's really amazing that you fight so well, but please don't push yourself too hard." Breezemoon and Mothpaw were at the Twoleg's den and their healing techniques would have to wait til the battle was over to be put to any use. Frogsplash flattened her ears as the battle raged around them, and she carefully looked over the cats for where a specific pelt was.
"Where's Scorpionfang?" she asked, worried about her littermate.

"I think they blame all of us..." Marigoldflame sighed, she didn't want to be disloyal, but even she couldn't deny that Fallenstar had been rather short minded not to have at least done more preparation for this eventuality, although how they'd found the Camp she had no idea.
Marigoldflame scoffed slightly at the sound of Scorpionfang's name, "Oh last time I saw him he was protecting Mosspaw, because obviously there is nobody in the Clan less suited to defending themselves than an almost Warrior Apprentice," she looked down guiltily, knowing that hadn't been a particularly nice thing to say, "Sorry" she apologized with a sigh, "sometimes he just makes me so angry..."

"You're probably right," Frogsplash gritted her teeth at Marigoldflame's thought. "I think I saw Mosspaw and Saplingpaw leave camp to help with something? I hope all the kittens are alright," she noticed the grit in her friend's comment, and wondered if perhaps her brother had rejected her to be with Mosspaw instead...Frogsplash remembered that the two were close. She didn't want to get into it now though; it was hardly the place or time, and she'd already asked Marigoldflame once about her relationship with the calico's hot-headed littermate and it didn't go over well.
"I'm sorry," she mewed instead. "He can be a mouse-brain sometimes but...that's just how he is, you know?"

"Yeah I know," Marigoldflame knew she shouldn't really be mad, they hadn't exactly made their feelings clear to each other, although they both knew what they were - but at the end of the day she knew he loved Mosspaw, and the love he had for her was so gentle and caring, what they had was partly driven on by anger and frustration - and it seemed right, better for all of them if Mosspaw was the one he settled for. Well... No, she didn't really believe that, but she had to make herself believe so.
She nodded to Frogsplash's first point, "Me too" she agreed, "Although, you don't think that they'd attack the Kits and Queens do you?" Her voice was uncertain as she now cast a worried glance in the direction of the Camp exit. She didn't like being around Kits very much, but that didn't mean that she wished them harm.

"I would hope not," Frogsplash sighed, "But I wouldn't put it past them...after MoonClan destroyed their camp and took their Clanmates. Who knows what they will do..." her voice trailed off as she thought about it. Would the other Clans go as far to do such a horrible thing? Or was it just Fallenstar that had the blatant disrespect towards other Clan's kittens?

Marigoldflame lowered her ears, a sign of concern she would only display around a close friend, "Promise we'll meet up again when the battle's over." While it was unusual for Warriors to be killed in battle, Marigoldflame knew that particularly in a battle as heated as this one the chance was much higher. She'd already lost her brother in one of these fights, she didn't want to loose her friends too.

Frogsplash nodded, an intense determination in her eyes. She shifted her weight slightly to move closer to her friend, and draped her tail over the orange tabby's. "I promise," she mewed.

Marigoldflame, stretched out her paw, it was still painful, but she felt more confident walking on it now, "I'm probably ready to get back out and fight," she dipped her head, "I'll see you later," as she stepped out of the bushes she knew that she was saying it to reassure both herself and her calico friend.

"Be safe," Frogsplash called out behind her before backing out of the bush and re-entering the fight.
