hi my hobbies include remaking old stuff from years ago to prove that if I could meet my younger self I could s t o m p her

So uh, hey. Welcome to a remake of some art I made back in like late 2015. On my old deviantART account one of the first ever pieces of art I posted was a picture of my warrior cats OC, Emberfall. She has no backstory or plot or literally anything 10 y/o me just went "hehe cool name red cat go brrr". Then I redrew the same picture as an improvement thing a few months later which... uhhh?? Some improvement??? I guess???? Honestly all it does is highlight the fact I used black airbrush to shade and had no idea how lighting or fire works.

ngl I've tried remaking this picture in the past but every time I did it I could never had past the sketch phase because heck front profile shots are the worst so I always scrapped it. It wasn't until like a week ago I finally got the inspiration to try again and honestly??? I think it came out pretty dope??? Weird composition to work with but it was super fun to work with intense lighting and shadows and stuff. hehe edgy red cat new fav
