Description
While the original title of this painting (acrylic on canvas with some digital touch-up) was a very creative "Stones 1," it quickly grew to become one of my favorite paintings I've ever done. I sometimes wonder what happened to this place. Is the tree in a rogue world, drifting in space, irradiated crystals glowing in the void? Is it some sort of massive cave? Did the tree grow from the light of the crystals? What started as a practice painting to play with multiple light sources, evolved into this. How do you think this barren tree came to be?Related content

I saw it as space too. Ty for the compliments. I appreciate it a lot. I put off posting art here for so long because I’d be side by side with such fantastic artists as yourself. I’m never gonna compete but if one of my pictures can tell someone a story then it’s worth it to share.
