I loved making this one! I've never really created 'dust' in any of my pics so it was pretty interesting to give it a crack!This is for the upcoming PS3 game Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games.. DAMN I CAN'T WAIT
It's going to have all the same physics that GTA IV used and I think it'll be awesome having the big ol' Western landscape to roam around in!This pic was mainly just to get me hyped for the game! It took me a little longer than my usual pics, about 16 hours I think.. All done in Photoshop CS3 apart from the sketch..

dude freakin amazin! i love the color scheme
i have jus three little questions...really lil...1) why is the saddle on the horse backwards???? 2) and where are the stirrups to the saddle???? 3) what about the bridle on the horse???

this is really great! i love the dust effects! the style on all the characters (including the horse) is absolutely great! the poses are really nice too! though I think his leg stance to too seperated, its good to push poses, but I think the legs were pushed too far and instead of feeling "ready" he feels kinda like hes about to do the splits, everything aside that is really great though!

Lovely work here! I love the dust effects and the color scheme. I think you captured the feeling the game gives off quite well. The backgrounds are quite impressive too with the bodies littered everywhere. Really shows off his "bad-assness" 
I really like this, don't get me wrong, but since you asked for critique, I'd like to point out some things that sort of distract from the picture for me. This may just be me being obsessive but I'd like to say that next time you might want to reference from photos when drawing horses and especially their tack. The saddle construction doesn't really make scene and it appears to be completely backwards. The bridal and reigns that would be used to control a horses' head are also completely missing. The anatomy of the animal itself is passable but it kind of confuses me that you wouldn't give the same attention to an element so close in proximity to the main character. I also wish I could of left this as an official critique, but DA's just silly like that, I guess.
Anyway, I want to emphasize how much of a great job you actually did on the rest of the picture, too. There's of detail to take in here and it must of taken a lot of effort. For that, I salute you. Nice work overall! ^_^

Haha I can't believe I put the saddle on backwards haha, damn that would be an awkward ride haha! It's the first horse I've ever had to draw so it's good to know I've learnt something from it!

This art is awesome, and the game looks really cool...
But it's a semi-wacky sandbox Western game that ISN'T based on the Deadlands: Weird West setting, and I simply can't condone that waste of resources.
