I loved making this one! I've never really created 'dust' in any of my pics so it was pretty interesting to give it a crack!This is for the upcoming PS3 game Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games.. DAMN I CAN'T WAIT
It's going to have all the same physics that GTA IV used and I think it'll be awesome having the big ol' Western landscape to roam around in!This pic was mainly just to get me hyped for the game! It took me a little longer than my usual pics, about 16 hours I think.. All done in Photoshop CS3 apart from the sketch..

The targeting is a little tricky at first but if you've ever played one player games you'll do fine.

Thanx haha I'm lucky I shrunk them to be just that! They used to be about 20% bigger originally.. I still haven't shrunk them enough, I'll have to put more thought into it next time

Your saddle is on backwards on the horse. I dunno if you meant to do that, but if otherwise, I thought you would like to know.

personally i love this...and no one commented tha HORSE! the horse looks amazing every lil muscle detail =] bullet n head looks cool as others has mentioned...it looks like dust to me! dust and smoke are almost the same thing lol only ones gray

OH!! It looks cool anyway!! I thought it was kinda funny at what the backword saddle provided as an image for the cowboy guy.
The man put away his gun once the last man had fallen. Stepping over the body of a fool who had dared to challenge him; he went up to his steed and put his booted foot in the sturup. And with a push he mounted the saddle, grabed ahold of his steed and urged it on with his heels.
There was no better way to ride out of a concured battle then backwords on the saddle.....
That's the image I got!! ....is there suppose to be no bridal too?

I absolutely love this picture. Caught my eye the minute I went onto deviantart today. My only issue with it is that the horses saddle is on backward, the horn goes in the front. Now, I'm unsure if that was intentional or not but just a heads up. >.<
