Damn It's been a while since my last piece, I've been so flat out busy with work lately!I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Rockstar have really nailed it, AGAIN! Even if you're not a western/shooter fan you'll still love this game!
I really wanted to do another piece for RDR, you might remember my last:
But with this one I really wanted to show a lot of action, and show off some cool things from the game! For instance:
- The feature to lasso a guy and do what you want with him, like dragging him from a horse LOL!
- Deadeye, the ability to slow down time to focus on your shot, like here, speeding on a horse but still able to drill a guy with ease
- The bear attacks, well it's not really a feature, just freaking cool!
Anyway I hope you all enjoy this!

HAHA yeah I know what you mean! I couldn't really play the game much after I got through the story, Jacks voice just annoys the crap out of me! And he looks weird! So I just moved onto multiplayer

I recently bought the game, and i'm addicted to it, i haven't played anything else since i got it.
Completed the last mission this morning, now i can relax and do whatever i want in this amazing big western American (and Mexican) world! God bless Rockstar Games!

I have no critique to give you as, in my opinion, it's another knockout. Way to go, man! You can do no wrong! How does it feel?
I absolutely LOVE your style and the only thing that stops me from favorite-ing everything is the subject matter of particular pieces. Your work is still brilliant, but if I don't particularly like the subject matter then I won't add it to my faves. Absolutely nothing against the art! Now you know!

Red Dead Redemption is the best X-box 360 game since Gears of War 2, its both fun to play offline (Story and characters are perfectly written...although i wasnt too happy with the ending, and its not because it was bad, just because..well, if you finished the game, you will know why
And as for the artwork, like all your stuff...its freaking awesome, its dynamic, lineart is really well made and im always amazed at how awesome and unique is your colouring...seriously, im kinda artist myself (really mediocre one) and i could use some tips from someone like you bout how youre doing your lineart, what tablet are you using/software/colouring methods/tutorials/anything

i was actually disappointed with RDR, not in a big way, it had a great story and it was really long, but the second i went online i got pissed off, after months of playing uncharted, my manual aiming was honed to what only could be described as epic, but then i get shot in the head every 4 seconds from some auto aiming dick, i mean i can forgive the auto aiming, but he had the audacity to call me a noob,

i know you probably get alot of "great jobs".....but one more wouldn't hurt right? Awesome job on the coloring, technique, and i love the cartoonish way the picture looks. There needs to be more drawings for the best game in the world (RDR). Keep up the good work!!!!

I love your work and style, which you already know. As far a line work, its top notch. There is an effective use of motion blur which works because you located it only in one area. Had you tried to do something similar with the dude/bear in the BG, I think you would have inadvertently created a depth of field issue which would have been distracting. The dude/bear looks more like he is putting his hand through the bear, it all looks a little wonky...great action, just doesn't seemed described very well.
Where the painting drops a bit is this overall bloom you have going. One one hand, I can surmise it's early morning, the birds are flying, the sun is behind the trees, the sky is purple...so the bloom could be a morning mist. On the other hand, to my eye it washes out the separate elements. I think the main character, would do better as a focal point if it appeared that air around him was clear, thereby making his color more prominent in the scene. Kind of like saying 'out of the mist rides our hero, ready to bring justice against those who would do innocents harm...'
Your rim lighting is effective as well, but you've extended it into areas where it couldn't possibly happen i.e: behind the horse on the leg and down low on the bear. You also describe a secondary light source with no clear indication as to where it's coming from. We know it can't be natural because the sun is already defined, it could be reflective, but there isn't anything to reflect off of.
And with lighting comes the inevitable shadows...the FG dude could probably benefit from stronger shadows on the far left of his back (once you describe the secondary light). The same could be said for the ground plane just to break it up and bring out some of those divots ( yes I know it's a golf term, but I think you get the understanding) caused by a galloping horse coming through...
Well that's about it. This work clearly shows that you should be hired to do a cross marketing comic book. I'm looking forward to your next work with great anticipation.

I'm bloody serious, man.
Every time you do one of these the density of the picture increases - there are a lot of things happening. The effects and coloring are becoming better suited for the setting and situation. The emotion comes out better on the faces..
I don't know if everyone appreciates your process as much as I do, but I see you going upwards every time you do a drawing. It's amazing, man. I stand in awe, as usual.
Very nice contrast between the action on screen and the peacefulness in the background.
Something tells me someone should pick you up for a big game project. Like an additional B/W comic with the release of Assassin's Creed 3. Your style is adaptable to pretty much any game, yet every time I see one of these I instantly recognize it's yours. I appreciate that.

when i played this game i always tired hard to shoot the horses rather than the people riding them, becuase it mean killing a people, that and killing animals is funner especaily when the darn auto aim wont allow u shot the horses
