Lately I've been playing the new Definitive Edition, wow it looks so much better, I'm really enjoying it. I've been meaning to draw a Tomb Raider pic for a long time, I just really wanted to make sure I got it all right, after all, drawing women isn't my strong suit. THis picture was actually quite challenging too, I haven't really dealt with a night jungle scene like this so trying to understand the lighting stumped me for a while. I hope I got it right haha!

I love this Lara! Personally, I'm not usually a fan of her character, especially in the older games. This one is the Lara that I respect as a character, not just because she isn't completely over-sexualized like in most of the previous games (and fanart) but also because she is more realistic in many ways. She's bloodied, dirtier, has a wider range of emotions and expressions and WOW LOOK SHE HAS PANTS THAT'S A NEW ONE.
Anyway eheh, this is AWESOME fanart and you deserve 6/5 stars on it, great job!

I think I'm kind of in the minority in one regard. While the game overall looks amazing (it's pretty much the PC version on middle settings) I'm not a fan of the "improved" Lara. I honestly think she looked better in the non Definitive version. Her features in the DE look too mature, and she looks like she's rocking makeup. She doesn't have the young, grounded look of the last gen (360/PS3) Lara. Regardless, this piece is so insanely perfect. Much like many of your other masterworks, this would look so amazing as an animated series geared for older teens and up.Β

I don't know if it's because I utterly hated this game but I've seen comparison videos and I don't see much difference between the "definitive" edition and the regular... except that the definitive is sold 60β¬ and the regular one like 15 on pc while not on sale...
Snif... give me the original Lara anythime!
