God MachineComposition inspired by the eden log dvd cover. Super dark and gritty movie about an evil plant and stuff. GO SEE IT!
And keep an open mind.

For some reason, the moment I saw this, the first thing that poped into my head was that it was a poster based on Bruce Lee's "The Crow". I don't know why- I've never seen the movie, just the ads. I guess it's the shapes and color that suggested it.

I've never seen the movie, or the posters. I googled it but cannot see the comparison, other than the black and white/dark moody images.
But it's pretty cool that you somehow thought of the Crow, just go's to show that the mind can work in mysterious ways.

Eden Log is a movie... and the cover depicted some stuff and that inspired me to make this.

omg I loved eden log. Saw it dubbed to english so that kinda sucked... story was cool, I liked the part where he's alone in the control room near the end of the movie.
Really good picture, man, one thing I would suggest, though is that bloom effects near the bottom of the machine leave a darker outline around the bottom, like if you took a soft brush and painted the inside just touching the border and not ontop the border its self.

Yeah the movie is just awesome! It's like a struggle for life, and its just so realistic. you feel for the characters.
Yeah it was really dark before, but it looked to close, like it was right above the guy in the front, so I painted some clouds over it to make it look more distant.

there should be an english language version around there somewhere, original movie is in french. but doesnt matter to much as there isnt a heck of a lot of conversation. so subbed would be fine i guess.
