Advanced critique eh? howsabout...... try to make the melting ice cubes not quite cubes anymore.....or something......with melting.................i dunno

Yeah I tried that, but I didn't like how it looked.... perhaps some day I'll pick it up again and give it another shot.

I was actually having a really hard time getting the puddle to render correctly....it's not turning out the way I want it to...so I'll keep working on that.
