Here's an abstract render done in 3ds max 7.
Props go to =Eraxer ; I followed tutorial of his to achieve these results.
I don't think this render is nearly as cool as any of his, but hey, it was my first try.

As for the render itself, like all abstract stuff, it really doesn't serve any other purpose than to look cool. So do what you want with it.
