Description
Day Five! The theme is Damage. I thought I could add a comedic twist to it.
I hope people recognize that the whole Korean words on the gear shift was from Spongebob.
I mean, the Satomobiles can have Korean on them. I mean Legend of Korra and Avatar: The Last Airbender were animated by both an American and a Korean studio.
Sorry, I got lazy with the lineart and coloring. >.>

No problem! You can just imagine Tenzin like a typical dad of a 16 year old freaking out if he taught Korra to drive.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was SPONGEBOB!!
Anybody know the episode where he saw the forward and backward shift in Japanese?

It was in Korean in the episode, too. I know because I'm Korean.
I took the idea from Spongebob. XD

yeah...i understand the humor, but it's portrayed poorly (and stupidly), and most of the humor is...gross. like they're testing out "shock factor" humor (or "wtf" humor, as i call it), but it's working terribly...

i honestly think they're scaring children now...maybe it's part of their motives...i mean, i'm thinking about that "new pet" episode where the tiny "cute" thing turns into a freaking sea worm fanged monster, and spongebob's like, "okay, imma look all oblivious to add some ironic humor into the scary mix. that'll shake things up."
nope. that "humor" is waaaay overused in the new episodes...
But enough of me ranting. (Just wanted to vent my old-Spongebob nostalgia feels against the new junk. ) What i should be focused on is the well-placed humor in this Korra piece. i was wondering if you were going to keep the serious expressions, but i was pleasantly surprised in the fifth panel
and it wrapped up nicely from there

You said it all! But then again, I've noticed that much older cartoons were creepy, as well. Like Invader Zim or Rocko's Modern Life, they were pretty disturbing. Maybe they are trying to bring back that creepiness that has been lost for some time. Since we're older now, we notice how strange it actually is now.
And thank you for the compliment!

I think the past lives of the Avatar have a personal vendetta against the Cabbage Man
