"They say a friendly wind always blows from the dark forest..."The forest in the game she was inspired by was quite dark. Strangely, I think Normoon kinda fits right in there despite her bright colors and demeanor! Though, I accidentally colored in her pink nose with black. >_< And her purple eyes and clothing scanned blue!
I hate coloring trees.
So I was lazy and only did two-tone shading. They look really flat but I just wasn't in the mood to spend four hours on the danged trees. The scanner chopped up the background gradient, but otherwise this looks pretty accurate. Her outfit came out almost how I envisioned it. I think I may change that skirt a little. Well, at least she's not naked any more!Full view recommended! Looks so much clearer.
EDIT: Realized that I forgot her white fingers and toes!

even though it was supposed to be purple.. i think the blues make it seem more like she was in a forest at night or evening ^^

I've used this as a ref about a hundred times by now and I still haven't commented XD Oh well, better late than never.
The thing that in my mind stands out about this picture, oddly enough, is the grass. I just love how you did it. It looks great! It's got nice texturing and it doesn't get messy anywhere, it's very well done, looks great 
I do so love this character for some reason 
Great work on that background, I love how you used the same type of colours in a lot of it so that she matches well, but changed their value or tint so that she still stands out really well. It looks really good <^^>

Normally, I don't like this type of green- I tend to like deep emeralds or yellow-greens, but she just needed to be whitish-green. (Besides, I use those markers and pencils so rarely) Just my luck, Prismacolor company discontinued her main colors right after I created her!

I think I like the grass the best, because it looks soft and lush, like good grass should. And I rather like the trees, and think their "flatness" is fine. I like the stylised effect. So, take that! MUHAHA!
Very nice is the colour palette in this piece- the colours are soft and subdued and dark in general, yet the ears and paws provide a nice little bit of brightness. It's a lovely piece and one of your best in my opinion.

I sometimes see the trees with two tone shading. this time I feel the curving outlines and some lines on the trees make a very good mood. and I like her costume, I feel she looks very courteous.

I don't know quite why I designed Normoon with two tails. Just seemed fitting since she's so unnatural anyway!

I love this! It's gorgeous. For some reason I especially love her left hand. And this character is awesome, and I love her clothes. I feel the urge to ramble so I think it's time to stop.

Hey, it#s really cool! Especially those transparent cloth! The look so cool and shiny! But I think, the skirt would fit better, if it would be a blit longer, and if the scarf on her hips would be bigger, so that it doesn't look like a belt anymore.^^ Just a sugesstion
But what i think is a bit sad, is that you coloured the trees, as you have said so flat. But the dark purple in the back is one of y favourites. it makes the landscape friendly but dark at the same time!^^

Hooray! Normoon! Her outfit reminds me of a Greek Goddess. Her eyes aren't the same color, but that isn't important... I like the "opaqueiness" of the clothe. Great job!

Her eyes aren't the same color as each other in the drawing, or as the old pencil version? The purple markers, it turns out, are all darker than their pencil counterparts and scanned a bit more blue than they really are, so that's why the colors look weird compared to the old version. Honestly, I'm really frustrated with my markers as far as purple.
