Made with Derwent Inktense pencils , painted with water. Born thanks to encouragement and inspiration from Mother-of-Kitties . I'm really inexperienced with these pencils, but I think this came out pretty well.Derwent Inktense pencils, Tuscan Red Col-Erase colored pencil (outlines), approx 4x6" Canson Montval watercolor paper.

Beautiful work on the gradients and coloring on those daffodils.
I just got some for Christmas and I need to work with them since it's been a while since I last used watercolor pencils.

I started out on this using the Inktense like typical watercolor pencils, but when I was most of the way through I realized Derwent isn't kidding when the product description says you can glaze layers. As long as you get them thoroughly wet and then let them dry, you can keep adding more on top and the bottom layers will hold fast. Try it, they're amazing!
