Yeah, we've performed in the Rogue Valley some, and throughout Grants Pass. The truth is, it's more apt to snow toward Mt. Hood, or in the Columbia Gorge. (sigh)

Where we are, it's kind of a rainy "banana belt," as it were.


Although--my best old buddy Mr. Ernest told stories of when he was a boy, when it snowed three feet here in the Willamette Valley. I would LOVE to see snow like that sometime. May be just once, as I know it would be a trial for everyone--but OH! The fun of it! (Grin)

When I was a kid--about 30 years ago, it would snow so badly every winter, that we'd miss at least a week of school at a time, due to snow. It hasn't snowed like that in years and years. But may be this year--there's always hope!

Have a wonderful, snowy day. Throw a snowball for me!!!

Oh, Thair again! I love him I feel the simple detailed part of the feathers on this art is really much.
by the way, for a long time, I'd been believed the Thair isn't a winter kitty rather than I guess he is close to the spring season. so I imagine about the blueprint of Thair art, of course it's spring art^^

My spring creature is a fox with dragonfly wings. We'll start seeing her in a few months. Indeed, Winter is Thair's season.

this time I see this art long time and I notice many good things. this art is covered with color harmony of blue and pink like previous Thair art. only the blue and pink make abundant color expression, and I love the distant background color, the pale color blended with pale pink and subtle blue and it changes gradually. and the black color, I forget what it is until I see the description again, but the shadow or the crystal is really good spice on this art, and it enhance the color harmony, I really love this point.

and another thing I notice may be strange. on creating the winamp skin, I see his beautiful feathers and I think many part of his rear feet is covered, and then I start to imagine the position of his feet, and this thing is repeated several times while creating the skin, and after I notice it's one of the technique, not to dare to show every thing and leave the room to imagine for the people, I sometimes feel that on the art show the road lead to the distant place. on the previous art, it show Thair's whole body and it's attractive and on this art, many part of his rear feet is covered and it have different good feature. I feel every thing is right answer on the art, the art accept any notion and sense and the audiences accept is as they sense. I notice many things from this art.

Thank you so much for another wonderful comment and fav! I'm really glad you still like this artwork all these years later. I love the combination of blue and pink (which is why Shirinara uses that combination too).

I wish there was a clever reason why his back legs aren't showing, but probably it was because I didn't feel comfortable trying to draw them in that pose. Lack of skill leads to covering things up sometimes. I'm glad it kinda worked here. Your imagination is better than my skill was at the time I drew this.
