DISCLAIMERthis is how I do my adopts, and what i think is important when you're finally getting to the dirty business of portraying the ideas for your designs. This is not intended as an 'immediately become wildly popular adopt maker' tutorial - just a few tips on how to improve the presentation of your designs.
THIS IS REALLY BASIC and might actually be deleted when i wake up tomorrow and be like 'why did you post this glove, why'
this isn't really what i intended to get into for the tutorial but i thought it might be worth showing anyway
ultimately this is a long winded visual aid to a piece of really simply advice - stare at other adopt makers until you learn how to present designs in a visually appealing way no, really, just simplify, stylize, and prioritize (your time).
im sorry this is sort of useless, better guide will be incoming when i feel less tired ahahaha also =sockjuice may be collaborating with me on the 'official' guide wahey

I like your designs! you do a good job of making a design detailed, but not overcluttered, and not overly simple either.
The gradient shading does deflect the design a little bit - maybe try cell-shading, or smooth shading instead?also, personally I find that drawing multiple strands of hair to show complexity tends to be a bit of a waste of time, especially for simple hair styles u-u
