Description
The Prospector class of ship was designed as the much more efficient and capable successor to the Excursion. She had a more powerful warp drive, a larger crew, improved planetary observation and surveying equipment, and was capable of staining a crew for 10 years (Although standard exploration missions lasted for 4 years). 10 of these ships were built however one was lost in an unfortunate crash while performing a slingshot maneuver around Mars. The Prospector class was over 1.5 km long and had a twin variant of the power pack used on the Excursion.
