As i said during my journal i'm going to try new things that will push me and take me out of my comfort zone. And drawing a car is something i've only done around 3-4 times in my whole life. I'm also not much of a car fan, but i do love ferraris, especially the '458 itaia' which is why i chose this to draw. On top of challengeing myself to draw a car i'm also trying to see if i can get the sense of speed also.Really have no clue how this will turn out. At the moment i'm not to happy but i think it will come alive once i get the car grounded on the road (i hope).

Looking pretty good. Still has that pencil look too it. Cars are pretty hard I think to do with hyperrealism. The back part looks good to me but the front (Hood etc) doesn't look hyperrealistic for me personally. I'm not sure why, maybe reflections of some sort.

Thanks, cars are real hard to look realistic especially if it does not have many reflections, like this one. And theres a reason why most hyperealist artists stick to portraits as its the easiset thing to make look realistic. But i'm gonna try as many different things as possible, as i don't want to be a one trick pony.Β But i defintely don't think i'll be drawing a car again, but i've still learnt alot.

DEFINITELY. I agree with you though, you shouldn't just stick to easy things just to make them hyperrelaistic, you should stick with hard things and make THEM look hyper realistic, thats when you become truly awesome

I love the way you drew the road! I can't imagine how much patience it took to be so detailed! Beautiful work with the shine on the vehicle too! Such attention to detail!! It is sorcery....

Sorcery? i wish as i would just wave my wand and let it appair XD. But thanks the road was pretty tedious to draw as the paper is A3.
