Description
"You know you can trust me, but you shouldn't."Doctor Chelli Aphra, rogue archaeologist, droid enthusiast, and Darth Vader's occasional personal assistant. I suppose the Imperial symbol isn't quite appropriate, since she's really out for herself, but she was Darth Vader's personal assistant. At least until he tried to kill her.
Another Star wars quickie. Previously:
Greedo, and Ackbar

She's a real character, but so far (as far as I know) has only appeared in Star Wars comics. She first appears in the Darth Vader series that started in 2015, and had her own comic series launch late last year. She's an interesting character though, since the "affable rogue" types are virtually always men.

Huh. Neat! I guess I should follow the comics, or other Star Wars things besides the movies, more closely.

The comics have been hit and miss over the years - a lot of the older EU stuff read like fan fiction, and sometimes it's set in the so far ahead or behind the movies it's barely Star Wars as we know it. And some comics have just been merchandise tie ins, so everything ends up being shortcut.
The Vader series was really pretty good though (Darth Vader is an excellent mix of Evil, tortured soul, and total badass - at one point he goes to Tatooine to meet with Boba Fett, and while he's waiting he wipes out a village of sand people, just to pass the time).

Well he DOES hate them as well as sand itself. Probably more so now with his breathing device.

Anakin Skywalker's feud with sand is well known, if the rebels had been aware of his identity from the first, they could have kept him at bay by piling sand everywhere.
They bring it full circle at the end of the series - it ends with a group of sand people sacrificing one of their number on a giant effigy of Darth Vader.
