My entry for Father's Day contest.

I wanted to present Midori-chan during her formative years, the ones that prove insanity is hereditary. And needless to say there's no one in Konoha trapped in his own special madness than Maito Gai. I just picture that if Gai was someone's dad these are the kind of things he'd do. Midori is the little gift I decided to give him.

Gai: I give you the best view of the Festival.
Midori: You're the greatest, Daddy!
Gai: Where do you wish to go?
Midori: Goldfish! Goldfish!
Gai: Then we shall youthfully scoop ourselves some fish! *Flashes winning smile*
Midori: *laughs delightly*

There are some extra 'familiar characters' in the crowd, because it wouldn't be a festival if there weren't others around to enjoy it.

I think I shall also mention that this will be first in a series of 'Views from a Festival' in which I will attempt several moments from one festival that interconnect.
