The Four are all smiles for TenTen, at the Academy on the day they announced who passed.
Midori (in mid leap): Look! Midori is now a fashionable Kunoichi!
Mihari (as he lightly shakes Yume by the shoulder): "Hey Ma! Even this little slacker got one."
Yume: *laughs*
Hotaru merely waves.

As always Kiseki happens to be hanging out with Midori, amused by her friend's boundless energy and enthusiasm.

Yes, this is a pretty good reperesentation of the relative heights of these 12 year-olds.
Kiseki (though she is the youngest of them) had a MAJOR growth spurt and looks far older than she is.
Midori is still the tiniest of the bunch, but the position she is in on her way down from her leap is pretty close to her actual relative height to her siblings.

Notice that while The Four are still adhering to their 'color coding' they express a hint of their independence in the way they wear thier hitai-ate. Is anyone surprised that Midori got a green one?

Actually the way it went down was: Two of the Academy instructors looked over the list of potential students graduating and immediately knew that they DID NOT relish the idea of the tiny dynamo throwing a fit if the gave her something to wear that wasn't green.
Then one of them laughed and said, "At least we don't have to worry about the rest of The Four."
Then another said, "What about Akimichi Kiseki?"
The first chuckled and said, "She'll be fine with getting what ever one we hand her."
Then the other said, "But Midori won't."
Immediately a request for one Red clothed hitai-ate was added to the order.
