This is cool! If you combine the mask to the layer after, Will it have the mess outside the lines? Or will it just conform to the color on the layer below?

Nice..! I was using the "lock transparent layers" thing to do this. But I actually think this may work better. I'll hafta try it out.

Clipping masks is a life saver....well i guess not really in saving lives but sure makes things far less frustrating.
