Lol Cute! Pretty cat! Cats rub themselves on things for many reasons: often to rub their own scent as territory (they have scent glands around eyes, nose, tail, I forget where else); they also like to rub scents they love onto themselves, including those of their owners; sometimes they have ear mites and rub ears on things; sometimes when hunting they want to rub away their own powerful scent by adding ones of nature or anything but themselves.

Lol Actually it was for anyone who doesn't know a lot about cats or is interested. I'm a trivia kind of person, and tend to write very spontaneously -- sometimes later think "Oops, shoulda just quietly read and moved on."
