BANG!!!

“EEEKKK!!!” Dawn screamed in fear as she toppled over. Her flat palms prevented her from face planting but nothing prevented the harsh concrete from biting into her flat palms. Likewise the gossamer nude garment that glazed her glorious legs gasped from the gritty impact with the grim gravel. Scandalous snags showed signs of surrender in the silky stockings stretched snugly over her supple skin.

Dawn looked up and saw the silhouette of an unknown assailant. Backlit by a streetlight, he was sparse on identity but bursting with menace. Less mysterious, there was a solid looking baseball bat in his left hand, gripped between thick serious fingers. The wood was etched by notches, minor cracks, and faded polish, all the signs of age and untold years of use. An attention getting dent had caved in the side of the trash can that was next to him. That must have been the loud sound that startled me. Thought Dawn.

Lingering her gaze on the reshaped metal, she couldn’t help but imagine herself suffering a similar fate. Her body didn’t wait for her mind to send the message. Dawn instinctively raised her slender arm up and placed her hand protectively in front of her head. She peered up at the looming silhouette as it towered over her cowering form.

“Please. I didn’t see anything. I’ll---I’ll---I’ll just go. I won’t tell anyone I was here. I… I won’t say anything to anyone. Please. If you’ll just let me go. Please!” Dawn begged.
