Hi Persian1, for this image it actually started as an pen sketch in sketchbook, which I then photographed, adjusted the line work contrasts and then painted it into this in CS PhotoShop. So its a combination of media. Probably been using photoshop as an illustration and painting package for over 10 years.

I really like the blocky design, makes me thing of the very retro style of ships.
I do have to ask, where are the weapons?
Maybe its just the flat design, probably hidden in the gaps, and such.
But, I feel like I am getting more freighter, or Cargo ship vibes. Bit like theΒ USG Ishimura,
more then a military craft.
Regardless, this is a real cool design, good work. Β Β

Yeah true, when this gets a revisit I may had some launch bin turrets etc. Although I like the idea that no weaponry is exposed until an emergency then suddenly hatches open to reveal stuff.

Yeah, that would be pretty cool.
Bit like those old WWI & WWII Q-Ships. Taking on the vestige of an unassumingΒ
civilian craft, then... Couple panels open up for rocket pods, Couple concealed cannons come out.
Then you got a bit of trouble coming right out of the blue.
Good way to pick off unassuming enemy craft. Though likely long term use of such a tactic would promote your
enemy to fire on civilian vessels, and that just not cricket. Β
